Maybe that is what they want. Not every country wants to be like US or SG. Dog-eat-dog, work comes first, survival of the fittest, turn all beaches into ports, top in everything etc.

What malaysian want is life under mahathir when malaysia enjoy good economic growth back then in 1990

 

but many malaysian didn’t realise that was a period of gold. Most countries enjoy good growth which nowadays its impossible to achieve.

After the fake resign, he hop back onto Bersatu thinking the PM deal is done after throwing Anwar under the bus. Just to find out he self-pawned as Bersatu nominated Muhyddin instead. Then he quickly hop back to PH, the same party that he masterminded the collapse just days earlier, so that he can hang on as PM. Such is the addiction to power 

And the biggest joke is that PH still accept him and back him as PM, just days after they publicly decried him. So desperate and utterly shameless that Anwar prefers to be shafted again and again by laoma....lol. Better he stay in prison everyday happily eat soto mee.

Langkawi MP Dr Mahathir Mohamad, in a closed-door briefing for his Bersatu supporters, blames Bersatu president Muhyiddin Yassin and PKR president Anwar Ibrahim for his failure to form the new government.

He slams Muhyiddin, who was this morning sworn in as the new prime minister, as a traitor.

Mahathir maintains that Bersatu should not work with Umno, of which several leaders are facing trial for grand corruption, and is upset that Muhyiddin has done so.

"Now, if there is blood on someone's hands, he (Muhyiddin) will also be complicit," he says.

Someone asks Mahathir if Muhyiddin's move was to thwart Anwar but he disagrees, saying that Muhyiddin had wanted to use it as an excuse as he had expected Anwar to pressure Mahathir into making way for him as prime minister during the Harapan presidential council meeting on Feb 21.

He says that didn't happen as Anwar decided to back down and allow Mahathir to decide when to hand over power but Muhyiddin proceeded with his move to topple the Pakatan Harapan government anyway and replace it with Perikatan Nasional.

However, Mahathir blames Anwar for Harapan's brief switch of support from Mahathir to Anwar after Mahathir refused to restore the previous Harapan government and wanted a new government that did not follow party lines.

"I am saddened because I lost because he (Anwar) asked Harapan to name him as prime minister. If not, I would have had 92 votes and I already had 60 votes, I would have the majority.

"But because he asked to become the prime minister candidate even though he didn't have the numbers. People like that believe in things that are not real," he says.

Harapan decided to back Mahathir after Anwar couldn't muster enough numbers but by that time, GPS had switched sides to support Muhyiddin.

Mahathir's briefing is streamed live on Amanah's Facebook page.

The former premier does not appear to be aware that his comments were aired live.

His son, Mukhriz Mahathir, who is also the Bersatu deputy president, is seen whispering in his ears before the live stream was terminated.

I think this is the 3rd time i said so.  PH had said that they will support Laoma to be PM to fulfill PH election manifesto.  Since Laoma wants to be cross party PM, PH nominated AI as PM.  This statement was made on Wednesday.

He announced that he is not willing to work with UMNO on Tuesday.  It is likely that AA hooked up Muhyiddin with UMNO/PAS.  As the picture get clearer that it will be Muhiyiddin vs AI,, he LL crawled back to PH.

Sticking to PH earlier statement, PH took him back to challenge Muhyiddin.

Of course Ah Gong TL him causing these political uncertainties.
