but they are not blacks right ? [:p]

actually i quite tired of all these black lives matter,

but of coz all lives matter, not just the blacks.

it's the police brutality that is the crux of the problem.

Yes all lives matter.

But how many white people got shot in the back while running away from the police in the US?

If you cannot name any white man then you can begin to start to understand black lives matter maybe just a little wet small bit.

Step by step.

We don't expect you to understand everything in one go.

But slowly slowly can already.

One small baby step at a time.

Study show black is 2.5x more likely to be shot at compare to white.

And this is when their population is less then white.

Due to the deliberate social neglect as well as the difficulty the black community has engaging into society.

The deliberate isolation caused the black community much difficulty to develop the skills to effectively match the skillset of the poor whites. It is with foresight that to be humane is to cost, and that the cost is NIMBY. Just push it off to freedom and ....isolation from knowledge and skills to protect self interest.

Its happens all the time even in the workplace.  Knowledge is power. You cannot blame the white government because the blacks had nobody to represent them. They were sold by other blacks even.

Police brutality is a truism, if you blame soldiers or even a k9 dog as brutal. When a person challenges a police officer, its asking for brutality.

A police officer may use racist words to bait, its just what they do. To the regular cop, its just like breathing. You fall into their sights while they are on the job, you potential bad guy. Poke abit see if good facade will change. Their world is almost always about the bad guy.

You know, medical personnel auto assess your health, they do not tell you but we do. Its a habit. Collect anot lokuns? As how readers assess your england lebel.

Its way easier to make it about the cops and budget because it gives elected public officials power over one of their greatest foe in public service.

The police is vital service, largest number, high budget and most connected division. They even have people doing overseas intelligence.

Hence, managing the theme as cops give smart public officials a blind and control.

Its not about the brutality, its about those who cannot keep up with society and how end up dying. Darwin?

A little off tropic but maybe good time to review. We should never forget history but it should be reflected correctly and not continuation of what was passed down.

Why tear it down ? :slow:

He was not racist when he first came here as Malays villages but introduced 'Singapura' to the World. :we-all-gonna-die:

The man, Elijah McClain, was walking on the street alone in August 2019 when he was stopped by three officers based on a report that he was "being suspicious".

According to the complaint, the officers held him in two carotid holds around his neck, tackled him although he presented no physical threat, and medics attending to him administered an overdose of the sedative ketamine which left him unconscious.

McClain died days later in the hospital.

there are countless similar thing happening in USA.

despite their poor human right record. i dun see china interfering USA over these issue. cos these are USA internal stuff.

china and the rest of the world would and should respect USA to soft out their own issue and respect USA law n orders.

Protests still going on in Portland and White Trump supporters are calling Black Lives Matter a terrorist organisation.

US is in a mess and so divided right now.

The hypocrisy of the West is disgusting. They don't have the balls to call out US for their human rights abuse. Just look at Justin Trudeau, he pissed his pants when asked to condemn police brutality and human rights abuses in US.

You gotta know what those people go through.

You get a call claiming domestic abuse and lord knows what is in the call.

You get an individual ignoring requests and commands. Escalating a situation for the police officers that might result in them or bystanders being shot.

There were 3 kids in the car.

For the policemen in this forum, you are already stressed and that guy might just be retrieving a boom stick and go ballistic. What do you do?

Going home at end of shift is so far away.

Thing is why do black people have difficulty with white police officers doing their job...

What happens when you walk away from SG police?

Taser deployed when there is little to no chance of firearm response.

When cops get killed often as they do in the US, you cannot blame them.

Sensationalizing this does not help international relations. In fact it just shows a lack of understanding and empathy.

Granted this guy at esplanade would likely get mag dumped if he did this at Rodeo drive.

It just shows different choices because of different algorithms and variables.

Its terrible but its a fact of life.

Thats why I did not want to continue life there.

😉

Quite true, the circumstances are vastly different there, from the rest of the world, or even just as we know of our world here.

Maybe that's the only way that will work in their society, which to some extent dysfunctional, in my opinion.

Good choice that you decide it's not wise to continue life there.

They have such a big problem of their own, but they think it more appropriate to say that other countries abuse human rights. If i'm not wrong, SG was targeted before too.

I don't need to teach them what to do, and i think they should learn to feel the same way as well.
