Arsenal being criticized for rewarding Aubameyang with a big contract and now he has loss form, Gunners Board being whacked. I pity Arsenal as they were pressed by experts and fans alike to give Aubameyang what he wanted which to be fair, they went out of their way to do so but now on hindsight, it seems its the wrong move. He has been a poor shadow of himself just like Ozil when he signed his big contract extension. Gunners also signed Willian n Pepe on big contracts but they have both looked average at best.

Instead, the youngsters Saka n Smith Rowe together with Tierney hv been the revelations at Emirates. So it doesn't always pay to reward stars as the younger players are hungrier.

Old pro players know this trick on Arsenal.

Put in effort, score a few goals and then get one last big contract.

Them just relax and take it easy. Just like a new job during probation time. Confirm already then can relax and take it easy. Sanchez did it, Ozil did it and now Auba did it.

Giroud is a very good player and with a World Cup winners medal, his credentials are without doubt.

However, almost all the EPL Champs over the years has a prolific striker leading their line. Giroud is not prolific despite his undoubted talents n with age against him, it's unlikely he will be first choice striker at a top 6 side but that doesn't mean he can't do a job as a back up or substitute impact striker. U can't expect him to play week in, week out like Kane, Salah, Mane, Vardy kind of striker so I don't think it's fair to say Mgrs don't appreciate him. Just my opinion.

I watched the Saints v Chelsea game and my immediate reaction when Hudson Odoi came in for Abraham at HT was why didn't he put Giroud on instead? Hudson Odoi is a wide player so to ask him play behind Werner was a dis-service to him n true enough he was hauled off later and blame attached to the player when it was Tuchel's fault in the first place.

But I see he not bad leh. Then again he is paid millions to make these decisions whereas I'm a free key board warrior 😃

Anyway my point is he played Hudson Odoi out of position so he is to blame as well esp since Giroud was on the bench.

same loh.....

i also feel when hudson come on , he give more direct threat to saint def

but i not coach and i dun know what is his instruction to hudson also......

hudson is playing as a wingback now.

from those game that he play there, i must say his workrate improve alot. esp on tracking back and chasing opposition player.

lucky we didnt sell him, 1 thing lampa did well is make him extend his contract.

One manager appreciate him very much. The France manager.

Played him in all the games in WC.

Arsenal don't appreciate him. They sold him.

the most unbelievable thing this season is west ham in top 4 loh....

last year they almost went down, if they get top 4 end of season, david .m must be given manager of the season.( not to mention lei, they barley spend any money????)

but i am betting on pools or chelsea to knock them down.

the sad thing is very hard to see man u and lei being drag into the btm group. its more sad that i feel either chelsea or pools will not make top 4..........
