A 65-year-old bus driver has been arrested over the collision involving two buses at Bukit Batok interchange, the Singapore Police Force (SPF) said on Monday (Jul 12) evening.

The man was arrested for a rash act causing grievous hurt, said SPF.

Seventeen people were injured when two service 945 buses collided on Sunday evening, causing one of the buses to mount a kerb, smash through railings and fall to its side.

Drivers must not follow too closely trucks and lorries that have cargo unsecured by straps or cover. Especially when these trucks are speeding, as the wind can lift objects out from their vehicles.

I think poster forget to post /s at then end of this statement (/s stands for sarcastic). So how far the king kong was or Honda stream? All these vehicle who carry lose construction material should be banned from life to enter in Singapore + heavy fine.
It could be fatal for those motorcyclist near king kong lorry.

Just wao, my heart was near my mouth while watching this scene.
Uncle is very lucky, may he live long and healthy.
I hope they really do proper investigation, buses like to stop very close at back (like they have no intention to stop).

actually that area where the uncle fell down is considered one of the safe zones for humans to take cover during earthquakes....imagine the bus as a concrete beam falling down

it would be scary though if the uncle was conscious and watched the bus fell

😬
