The thais are cleverer. By being open and accepting, instead of drawing lines between local and foreigner - i would say they are the most successful country in SEA in terms of assimilating the chinese. An additional advantage is that in thailand there is no hang-up over religion and inter-marriage.

 

Thai Royalties also have Chinese ancestry. 

Probably that's also partly why inter-marriage are common.

I go australia to eat vietnamese food. I try to eat one asian and 1 western meal a day for lunch/dinner when I'm in the cities. Suburbs or small towns then LL

 

 

Their pho definitely better than their "Chinese" food... tried a few, disappointing much. Better value buying pizza.

really? their chinese food is decent also actually.
But just that whether u feel worth it paying 20+ aussie per dish for normal zhi char dishes but in AC setting. And 14-15 dollars for fried rice. 
haha i like chinese food but i rather eat some other asian food when I'm there.

I think with google reviews, its unlikely u get a lousy meal below anything with a 4 star rating or very high 3+.

Not sure. But those I met and interacted at the drinking bar/pub were as described. Actual normal office thai ger, no interaction at all. Best is to ask @Arogab

Hello, Those you met at pub got different agenda ok. My office ones are ..... you don't want to see most of them in the pub also(But I also got pretty ones in office ok). You should actually differentiate those in Pubs/KTV and those willing to work in office and have a family. They are different. 

Take for example. One GF for one friend went with us to the music bar, she goes around collecting tips of 20 to 100 and pretend to send to the singers. But she never give all and ask for tips from the music bar not knowing I spoke so much with the boss. But my office gals, when I told them my toll fees can keep and use for cash in office for buying misc stuffs. But the return it as in the picture attached.

Not true lah. I more heard of Thai husband a lot very irresponsible. Haha. That was just a joke on "that's why a lot of raw food" cos no need to cook. 

If you don't wanna go kitchen, get a wife that loves cooking and not ask you to cook. Haha

Those in your office should be higher in social echelon with good academic background. There are also those from country side (from the mountain) with lesser edcuation but earning honest living like sales/retails. I believe they still hold the value of men been the head of family this behave subservient virtue.

Ture. my office also got those paid 30k THB ones and those operators are paid around 15k THB. 

My Finance Manage who well educated and got land and houses (even just recently purchase the house in front of my rented place for investment).....never got married

Once me and my friend were at Thermae, those who have been there know how is it like.

We chatted up a lady who told us she worked in retail and she asked my friend want or not. He politely rejected and we went our ways.

While we were walking back to the hotel, the lady drove past in a Mazda 3 and asked us need a ride or not. 🤣
