Natural to build up some speed to go up that ramp ahead...have witnessed many coming out from the petrol station often cut across lanes to get there...

Cam Car[i think is a Van],cut in front of PHV,He or She could go further up & merge slowly...of course will make the PHV angry,PHV also too much,Jammed Brake,caused Cam Car also did the same,so Cars or Motorcycles behind could cause a Chain Accident,Selfish PHV...hope you pay the Excess of $2,160.00.

This type of brake check has to be stopped, Can cam car report PHV to police for dangerous driving? Eg switching lane recklessly,  ebrake in the middle of a road.

TP  cant be everywhere but they ahould  at least amend the law to discharge all drivers of any liability when an accident occurs between a vehicle and these PMDs. 😁😁

The law should be clearcut for brake checkers, auto 100% fault. Then you won't see ppl doing brake checks.

might be fined by TP but insurers still deem the rear vehicle at fault? who knows

Very debatable.. sometimes the insurer law firms use the TP investigation results to push their case.

If we use this case as an example, TP might penalise the CCB PHV and once the investigation result letter is sent to both parties, the law firms are supposed to get a copy from the insured, then the cam car's law firm might fight and refuse to pay, or push for lower liability.

If the police are not involved, i.e. no injury or no report made for such behaviour, then likely the law firms will go by BOLA
