If I place at the air intake mouth ... I get 30+degC !

However, inside the air filter box, I don't get 10degC jump or drop but slowly little bit of increment and decrement .. even traffic or highway .. thus I think the resonator is stagnant air leh ...

The usual - NEVER. Heard enough complaints from Don of Mcwell on the LTA approval process already.

Anyway, when they took out the bumper to put in the micro compressor for me today, was trying to figure if actually could extend my intake 'mouth' with something into the front area - then really get lotsa cooler air - but think the metal bar still in the way - see area circled in photo.

Yah... saw it too... actually, kinda forgot what U did - you took away the whole bar at first right ??? But now with your CAI, have you put it back ? Am a bit concerned on removing it entirely, as it connects actually to this front thing that's like the radiator, but separate from it.

What I did was to shift the pipe towards the non-blocking side. The metal bar holds the condensor, so I don't want to move it.

I think there's still some space below, the right side of the radiator (looking from the front). Next Friday we do a more 'indept' inspection, ok! Posted ImagePosted ImagePosted ImagePosted ImagePosted ImagePosted Image

Could the error come from the way you placed the probe?

The Stream 2.0L has a built in resonator. See pic.

Some people actually suggest cutting thru the partition to merge the air box and resonator into 1 !

Can't remember seeing it last time I looked at your engine bay - either that or I forgot... but so little space, how to move ?

Since the DC5 supposedly has the same engine layout and externally similar air box, I wonder if it uses the same box ? There's also a filter box from Mugen that fits the DC5, which integrates into the Mugen DC5 bumper that takes air in from a hole in the front of the bumper - really wonder how that box looks like from the inside. Anyone knows[gossip]
