Yeah ... very simple .. just a 330Ohm resistor, 1 super bright LED. ... find the VTEC cable from ECU (I figured that it's output, so it shouldn't short the ECU) so hook it up and now it works !!! [:)]

Actually there are tons of DIY articles out there [:p] I just follow step by step ...

Took me a while before I had the courage and figured that I shouldn't cork up that bad to mess up the ECU :-P

Ask me to do on another car is a diff story ...

So far ok ... but I put my hand there, when radiator fan is blowing ....can feel air blowing OUT of the snorkel !!!

Huh ??? Blowing OUT ?

Look at this pic ... the WRC Rally car has air ventilation on the roof ... similar to my undercarriage scoop ... so I guess Venturi effect doesn't apply here ?

So air will still go into the intake instead of being SUCKED out ?!

OK got it....need a LED with 330 ohm resistor , negative side to ground and the other to the ECU side which is the yellow/grren stripped wire......and that's it....right?

Simple as that!!!

You can either find the pin on the ECU or tap from the VTEC Solenoid ...

BTW, you got a Honda ??
