You should not accept the car in the first place. You are protected by lemon law here.

What happen if you go back 1 months later and they refuse re-spray those chipped part?

Did you write it down on the hand/take form and did it signed by the agent?

They repair yesterday, took one whole day. .. So So standard only... I writing to them about it. I took the car because of a few reason, season carpark transfered to the new car. Mazda 5 is already registered and insurance is paid. If take later it is not as though they can deregister and register the car later... Cost already incurred... Took the car on Saturday and they told me it will only be ready 3 to for days later.

Sorry to hear bro, sometimes, you get this type of SEs. Generally, from my experience, the SEs in Mazda are considered one of the most friendly ones already, luck of the draw I guess.

I think that bro who said quota met maybe right, indeed showroom are packed to the brim last weekend from some of my friends' feedback.....

It will be interesting to see what will the bidding be like for next Coe.....

Not only sales quota met, they are increasing the price of all car by $2-3k.

Lucky my friend book early, another one was complaining he has to paid $2k more for the same car when he went to sign the contract yesterday...

Kind of expected that, however, I think the real action starts this weekend....

Singaporeans sure love their rides and the freedom to roam the roads....

Hard to fathom the Coe will behave itself this round..... My opinion only.....

Recommended Tyre pressure Mazda 5 Fully seem quite high. Front -240 (35PSI) Rear 280(41 PSI). Our tyre max (51PSI).

I have to release some pressure yesterday as the PSI rise to 46 from the initial 41. :o:o

I am using tyredog(TD1400) TPMS. Just an info for you guys to note.

Probably yesterday was a very hot day and the road are hot too.

Have lowered all the 4 tyres pressure. Long day Hari Raya visiting today, don't want a blow out.

I have been using the same TPMSfor the last 5 years and it is quite accurate. Not trying to sell or advertise anything here. Just to share my findings [:)]

My understanding is that recommended pressure is based on 'cold' tyre pressure. So, I pump tyres when they are cold. Tyre pressure after being driven will definitely be higher (how high depends on how hard you have driven). Besides following the recommended tyre pressure, I wld also follow the recommended tyre rating at minimum too ie 'H', 'V', 'W'.

I pumped when it is cold. Drove straight to petrol station which is less than 500meters away and pumped 240/280 in the morning. But at full load(7 ppl) after driving about full 30 mins the psi went up to abt 310 ( 45 psi). I was abit worried. So lower the tyre pressure. Will monitor, car(Mazda 5) is new, only about a month old... worried could be an issue with the brakes or I am just being paranoid.

I thought should not pump when tyres are cold as the pressure would increase (exceed) when it heats up during the drive. I usually pump at the kiosk when i am reaching home after a drive.

Tyre pressure guidelines r meant for cold pump. Pumping tyres when hot result in inaccuracy

Faint... That means you have always been under inflating your tyres. Under inflated tyres can cause them to burst.. Always pump your tyres when they are cold, travelling less than 1.6km

I called to book the 1,000km servicing for my Mazda 5 at Leng Kee Service Centre today and given a slot on 4 Aug 15. To my surprise, the service centre told me that 1000KM servicing is "check" only, no changing of engine oil and oil filter. The change will be on 10,000km not even at 5,000km.

Is this the industrial norm for 1,000km servicing? My previous purchase was 10 years ago. Normally new car is filled with mineral oil could not last till 5,000km.

I posted the query in Mazda Facebook and waiting for their reply.

Nope, for Komoco, Toyota and etc 1k is to change mineral oil to synthetic oil.

For Mazda 3, seems like they have filled it in 0w20 synthetic engine oil, hence they are not changing oil. Besides, you change oil needs to pay $$$$

I did the 1000km servicing... yup they just check only ( not sure they really did). I only took the 3 free servicing only, which is actually only 10k, as they mention the "free" only covers oil change!!! other stuff is chargeable.

You mean you have to book a servicing appointment , take leave from company, drive to Mazda WS just to check your oil level?

Can we do it ourselves? I know how to check oil level.

Just sent in my M3 and all I can say is jin bo liow. If not for the occassional suspension sound, I'd have a a mine to forgo it. Great that Mazda uses synthetic oil for car delivery.
