Stooky 6th Gear August 9, 2016 Share August 9, 2016 (edited) Vezel is top PI car again. From January to June this year, a total of 5,550 Vezels were registered collectively by parallel importers, enabling the Honda brand to widen the gap from its closest PI competitor, Toyota. The Vezel's sales strength also made this compact sport utility vehicle (SUV) the top model in Singapore. http://news.omy.sg/News/Local-News/story20160808-466935 Edited August 9, 2016 by Stooky

SGCMtigger 1st Gear August 9, 2016 Share August 9, 2016 (edited) W/o CEV, how much more you need to pay? ahbui8 and Davidtch, see link, subject to co2 emissions from your model. perhaps wo rebate, that goes into the price then? https://www.lta.gov.sg/content/ltaweb/en/roads-and-motoring/owning-a-vehicle/costs-of-owning-a-vehicle/tax-structure-for-cars.html the lesser emission the more rebates. hw that will end up low parf. that is one of the reasons i got the s model, besides the 's aka swee' factor.. Bieffe 2nd Gear August 9, 2016 Share August 9, 2016 I don't mind with low scrap value ð btw is the sound insulation better than the petrol?Hybrid is more quite when the engine is off.
Tutc Neutral Newbie August 9, 2016 Share August 9, 2016 I don't mind with low scrap value ð btw is the sound insulation better than the petrol?I have not compared my hybrid's sound insulation with that of a petrol but I understand that the hybrid has better insulation for the floor pan. It's true that the hybrid is very quiet in EV mode but this happens for short periods of time and is not something that you can control at will because it is done automatically depending on the car's speed, inclination of road, force on the accelerator, state of charge of the hybrid battery, etc.As for expected difference in price of hybrid without CEVS rebate, I guess I would need to pay around $25K more since this is the rebate given, assuming all other things, e.g. dealer's profit margin remaining the same.
Wiiuwii 1st Gear August 10, 2016 Share August 10, 2016 Tried my bro in law's Hybrid Z yesterday. Felt the car doors are heavier and closes with a nice thud, unlike my petrol X.
