The hybrid not only put a smile on my face... It was close to a laugh as though I had my first drop from Battlestar Gallatica  [laugh]

Maybe it wasn't the DCT, it was the horsepower but it certainly didn't disappoint me, coming from a CVT.

That's sound promising. I want to test drive it to feel myself. [laugh]

Just curious, have you driven a DSG before .. it is something like that kind.. lol?

Yeah that's why I hope Kah brings in the hybrid.

Makes my decision process much simpler.

The design, interior etc are all lovely.

The Civic turbo would have been nice but it's too low slung for my mum :(

Sigh

I have looked at some of the other complaints and IMO they are all quite ok stuff..

If one looks at some of the other issues facing competing cars they have some stuff that really matter ..

Gear box

Reliability

FC

Parts not screwed tight etc

In comparison maybe a bit of road noise is ok.

So once I test the regular 1.5 and it work for this hill I have to use everyday to merge into traffic then it's all good :)

Too many Vezels - no problem ! Plenty of parts, people who can trouble shoot and anyway there aren't many HRVs - for now :)

Just get a more unique color like red or something

No, haven't touched a DSG before. I just remembered, there was a mild jerk as it up shifts on the Hybrid's DCT.

There is a light bulb underneath the A button (for engine auto cut off), near the front power socket area. Anyone knows where's the switch for this light?

Thanks.

I don't think there's a switch for this light. It appears to be the light to lit up the area under the center console but it is tooooo dim to do shat. IIRC it lights up when cabin lights are on?

Doesn't work leh. Anyways , after your purchase, Lta would send a letter and provide specs of your car. Mine had confirmed year of manufacture to be 2016

Thanks. My car is still with VITAS and don't know when can collect. COE was secured in May 1st bidding. Sipei sian as I scrapped my old ride as COE expired in mid July and now have to squeeze with MRT crowds everyday to work...sigh...

oh why so long ah? when i first spoke with my SE, he told my new ride at VITAS too, but ready after 2 weeks leh. maybe got queue.

i had help from another bro from this forum on both counts, recommendation for a reliable PI and buyer for my old ride. still had another 6 months and road tax due start of aug. closed deal with buyer within 2 days. handover of old ride in the am and received new ride in the pm on same day...so swee right?!

Hmm... Why not just get hybrid frm PI?

The amount you pay for petrol can get you a hybrid from PI.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not a dealer or se. I believe if you like a build or type, the deciding factor shouldn't be AD or not.

That's worrying, tcoe expire in six month, and your close to four

I just tried - it worked for me. You have to choose make as "Honda", key in your chassis no. e.g. RU3-1234567 then click "search". The result showed that my car was manufactured in Jan 2016.

It's a pity Kah Motor is losing so much business for bringing the lower spec to their showroom, their Sales team should be shot.

Btw, when the new HRV ready to test drive in Kah Motor?

As far as I know no one got their Vezel recall for servicing START/STOP problem. It was a lip service exercise when news broke.

Kah got complacent thinking their Thai HRV will suffice. Just like the Corolla and many other models.

They didn't take into account the powe of the PI.

Now the Jap HRV will be here end of the month.

And these recall issues are one major reason why I still like buying from the AD.

Maybe this one isn't a big issue but you know Kah has to resolve all issues big or small.

Why shoot the sales team?

They are just a salesman, do what salesman are suppose to do, sell what company ask them to sell.

bro there isn't a built-in camera in the hrv/vezel. The car may come pre-installed with a dvr by the dealer.

Most PIs are "giving" iRoad V7/V9. I was given a V7 and I went outside to trade in for a V9.

If you're mostly in covered carparks/under shade, the Blackvue is better. It is sharper and more user-friendly and of course more costly.

The files are in .avi, split into Front/Back cam files, can be extracted easily when you plug into a PC while the iRoad is the complete opposite. I've heard about Thinkware too.

Why didn't I get a blackvue? That's because I have RMA-ed 2 x DR500 and 2 x DR550 in my previous car. The blackvues got fried as I work in Tuas, open air carpark with no shade at all. Then after unplug/replugging the cables to keep the camera every time I reach office, it became loose over time and the rear cam soon failed to get detected.

This incident emphasises the importance of having in car cameras man....

Before there were cameras, they will blame the driver. Here, we can see clearly who is at fault.. Will definitely get one that faces front and back..

Is there a suitable model that bros here use?

Is the in built rear camera in the HRV / Vezel adapted to record?
