PI is always an issue in some business. Thailand, Malaysia and others will still have MIT HRV where PI presence is less.

Thailand factory will sustain as there are other models MIT too.

If I read correctly, Hong Kong and Singapore are affected by PI and hence the change.

Certain countries in SEA importing from japan is far more expensive that buying from thailand factory. Unlike SG and HK where there is practically no tax and tariff on imports other than the usual tax we has to pay to own a car.

If every country wants the MIJ model that's no bad thing. Problem is people don't want to pay the higher prices.

Japan has already hone their car manufacturing skills to perfection, but their no.1 problem is manpower cost. Even robotic cant fix manpower cost

 

Go to a emerging market in SEA, they immediately cut their cost by half with abundant of manpower, and yet quality is still reasonably good.

Only if you cannot wait for the car or can only afford a much lower down payment than required for ADs. Otherwise it is silly paying  just  8-9k  lesser than a new car. This 10mths Vezel would be a good proposition only if it is around 90k.

The boot tray covers the floor of the boot. Typically it's made from hard rubber or plastic so the floor become water resistant.

The tonneau cover is what covers the boot area so you can't peer into the car and see what's inside.

225/45/18 is whats recommended but to me wont make the car Nice too thin. Offset 55.

225/50/18 Is not a common size as such your Tyre type will be limited. Also this profile will affect ur Speedo and 2 to 3%. Means the actual speed is slightly faster vs original.

235/50/18 will be more common, but thicker so FC may suffer.

The latest Vezel RS is using 225 50 18 tyres. Thinking of going for 225 45 18 as it is a common size but the gap between the tyre and fender is quite big
