  3. driving home this eve 7+ from office (yeah OT gotta clear work man! not international holiday in western world) thought i put top down since ok weather..got chased by a brown cab (smart transcab?) highlighted me outside along vivo & even got off from his cab walked up to my driver's side in major road red traffic gave me the finger plus palm to fist sign(aren't they the same meaning?) & used the f word 3x then the ultimate action of punching my window with departing words "I will follow you all the way to the end!" wah so drama, like i f? his wife/daughter/mother??! don't even know what the f triggered his bad day.. so any bros captured this video on car cam or willing to step out as witness (am in silver slk) will get $reward from me as the law will deal this cabbie who tailgated me all the way (he meant it) into my estate, chased me in underground carpark.. Mr. Trans-gressor cabbie, you will get a friendly call from your neighborly police for trespass and assault (am not pursuing damage to car because that's just money, but your threatening actions & antisocial threat must be curbed), oh also for beating red light past carribean in order to chase me(that's 12 points for you). a bully such as yourself who abused the vehicle you do not own against others who have their own ride just trying to go home from work (much like you we gotta slog on public holiday so what gave you the right to take it out on others, the next car that's unfortunately me?!) I have been told you will either lose your job (for continuing to lie/abuse) very soon, yeah not suitable for you looks like you can't handle the stress of driving a borrowed car..or cool down in jail for few days if you refuse to face me apologetically (hai, male middle finger pride)

  6. Today evening peak hour along shenton way I saw this yellow citi cab trying to cut from 3rd lane to 1st lane in order to make an exit. As the road was very packed, nobody on the 2nd lane wanted to give way to this cabbie. Until it was my turn, I came to a complete stop just before him so that he can filter out safely. Guess what? As he started to filter, instead of waving thank you.............he stared angrily at me and mouthed the words "che*bye" and drove off. I was WTF?? Am I missing something here or is there such people in this world?? Courtesy begins with me?? Pui! Hope one day he langah.... Anyone encounter similar ungrateful b*stards while on the road?
  7. From Marine Parade Road, I turned left to Joo Chiat Road towards I12. Those bros who know this stretch of road, it is usually quite packed as there are cars parked at the road side parking lots. As I turned into this stretch of road, I slowly opened up a bit of space on the left. Suddenly the blue sonata cab sped up, trying to squeeze into the space I opened up.. The space was very narrow, maybe just nice to squeeze in the width of a car. There were cars parked in front, and I dunno why would he wanna squeeze in and just couldn't queue just like the rest. He came so close to me that I felt he could almost hit me anytime. He realised there were parked cars in front, and couldn't squeeze through (in the first place there were not any space to squeeze at all), he braked at my blind spot. I turned to check, he saw me looking into his cabin.. He grumbled, first showed the 'WTF' hand gesture, the kept his other fingers and left the middle finger pointing at me. He waited for me to move on then came behind me, started to honk at me.. but still had to also queue to turn left into East Coast Road, to enter I12. Red light at the junction, I was in front of Ding Tai Feng. While waiting for green light, I looked into rear view mirror again.. He pointed the middle finger, and kept emphasizing that gesture.. I showed him mine. Then this mad man, probably in his mid to late 60s, came up with many gestures, then started pointing at his in-car recorder.. must be telling me that he got whatever captured in his recorder! I didnt give a damn.. If I was in the wrong I would have just wave an apology.. But this time why should I? I drove on.. checking the rear view mirror.. saw his kept gesturing 'WTF!'.. Just lamenting.. It happened on Saturday evening, but I got pissed over the weekend. WTF.. Attached picture of the road that it happened..
  8. korean say korean car sux SINGAPORE - Police have arrested a 30-year-old Korean man, who lost his temper and beat up a taxi driver until he was unconscious, yesterday morning. The man, who was upset by a broken door handle, had also yelled at the driver for driving a "lousy car". The 48-year-old driver was taken to the hospital after his encounter with the irrate customer outside a hotel in Pasir Panjang. In an interview with Shin Min Daily News, the injured driver said that he had picked up the passenger after receiving a telephone booking. He said that the passenger, who spoke fluent English, shouted at him to drive to the airport, and threw his luggages into the car boot. Although the driver tried to coax him, the angry passenger refused to calm down, even breaking a door handle by forcefully pulling open the door. When this happened, the driver decided to call the police as the man's behaviour seemed unstable. When the man saw the driver step out of the taxi, he demanded to know why he was not taking him to the airport. Just then, the fired-up man also discovered the taxi driver trying to snap a photograph of him. It was then that the angered man charged at the taxi driver, knocked off his spectacles and punched him repeatedly on his head and back. According to Shin Min Daily News, the taxi driver blacked out but soon regained consciousness. When the passenger saw the taxi driver standing up, he ran up towards him and started to attack him again until he begged for the man to stop. The police arrived just as the man was trying to retrieve his bags from the car boot. Comfort Delgro spokesperson told Shin Min Daily News that the taxi driver did not provoke the passenger. The company would help the driver with medical bills and work with the police for investigations. http://www.asiaone.com/Motoring/News/Story...607-351182.html
  9. was driving along PIE towards Tuas on the 2nd lane at about 90km/hr and the expressway was pretty clear. then from my rear view mirror,i saw a white merc cab with white light flashing very far away and i was thinking what happened? then i recalled news report on YOG merc cab so i continue to drive as usual, the speed is most probably 10km/hr faster than me and it took quite some time before it get close to me. but when it was still quite far away(about 10 car length),it started to high beam at me asking me to give way(lane 1 was very clear then)?maybe his ego became bigger with the YOG number plate expecting others to give way. so being considerate enough,i filter to lane 1 and watch the driver,s attitude when he drove pass me on lane 2. he was stuck in lane 2 and i managed to pass him, then he filter into lane 1 behind me. and i realise another YOG merc cab on lane 2 driving with a much discipline attitude. when lane 2 was clear, the first cab i mentioned filter into lane 2 and back to lane 1 infront of me. so being naughty,i tried to challenge his ego and tailed him. he sense it and sped up(above the legal speed limit) weaving in and out of lanes. i didn't know just any cat & dog taxi drivers are allowed to ferry olympians around risking their lives.
  10. Wonder what the driver did to piss the cabbie off. No one would react this way unless severely provoked. But doesn't make the cabbie right either.
  11. i was travelling on TPE towards Sengkang at about 80-90kph along a slight bend. an SBS bus was travelling on my left at the same speed, about 2m in front. there were only two lanes (merging lane). a taxi, those MPV type sped towards the rear of the bus at at least 120kph. without braking, the taxi swerved in front of me, through the 2m gap. for a split second i thought the taxi was doing a kamikaze into the bus, for the next split second i though it was doing a kamikaze into my car. crazy idiot

  13. Just to vent frustration. I was travelling along amk ave10 on right lane and this yellow cab swerved in from the hawker centre cp to my lane out of sudden. Actually i'm fine with this cos many do that. To avoid hitting this driver, I changed lane to left lane and in front we are approaching a red light. To my horror, he does likewise and bobian i need to jam braked to avoid hitting him. I horn him and then change back to right lane. As usual, he thinks he is in no fault and keep staring at me why I horn him. Hiaz.......That's all, just wanna release stress...! I would think we need to be doubly careful when driving on straight roads in case of any stunts out of the blue. Drive safely mates!
  14. Man films heated exchange with cabbie, uploads it onto YouTube A CASE of road rage apparently sparked off when a man told a cab driver that he had been parking on the wrong side of the road. The man, who filmed a video of the heated exchange and later uploaded it onto YouTube and sent it to STOMP, said he had first asked the cabby politely to move his car. According to the man, the unhappy cabbie then replied with expletives. The dispute escalated from there, and that was when he started to film their argument. Cisco officers later came to the scene to stop the fight. The man in the video had threatened several times to call the police to arrest the cab driver. He also asked the cab driver to leave. Midway through the shouting match, the cab driver began winding up the passenger seat window in a bid to end the quarrel. The cab finally left when the man had asked Cisco officers to take down his particulars. The three-and-a-half minute video has since been uploaded by three different users on YouTube. 16. Cabbie who caused death of financial advisor gets a year's jail By Julia Ng, Channel NewsAsia | Posted: 03 January 2008 1817 hrs Photos 1 of 1 SINGAPORE: The taxi driver, who caused the death of a financial advisor along Scotts Road in April 2007, has been sentenced to 12 months' jail. 68-year-old Lee Yuet Kong had earlier been found guilty of causing the death of 29-year-old Alex Lim by a rash act. The court heard that on 9 April, Lee and Lim were involved in a minor accident and both had stopped along Scotts Road in front of Isetan. During their heated argument, Lee refused to divulge his details. So Lim stood in front of Lee's cab to stop him from leaving the scene. But Lee braked suddenly and then drove into Lim, who was clinging onto the cab's bonnet. Lim was knocked unconscious and went into a coma. He died in hospital a month later. Lee could have been jailed for up to two years. His lawyer had told the court that Lee is suffering from various medical conditions including nasopharyngeal cancer. Lee is also said to have a "history of heart failure" and is "waiting for open-heart surgery".
