  1. Hi Guys, Firstly, Merry Christmas and I hope you guys are enjoying the festive holidays!! To start this, I've went down to view and test drive a Kia Cerato Forte Koup 2.0 yesterday at WCEGA Plaza, Top Carz / Pioneer Auto. (#02-55) I was about to submit my particulars to purchase the car when I threw the question if Lemon Law is applied to this car. The dealer said no and there isn't any lemon law applicable for their cars. No reason was given when I ask and he just keep saying that their cars on sale has no lemon law. Alternatively, I can get a 3rd party warranty for 6 months, which I have to service my car at their workshop if not the warranty is void. On top of that, I would need to pay a premium for the warranty. I have rejected the car purchase and would like to ask if anybody has encountered the exact situation with other dealers as he said in the market there are some who doesn't apply lemon law? From what I know, lemon law should apply even if it doesn't state on the sales agreement or contract. But, if in the event the sales agreement states a clause that the vehicle is sold under "as it is" condition, then there will not be lemon law applicable. Sincerely seek the community's advise or opinion on this. Thanks.

  5. Let's say a driver got into an accident due to drink-driving. Since most, if not all, insurance do not cover drink-driving, that driver's insurance is void. Now, what about the victims? Can they claim directly from the insurer? Will the insurer pay out first, and then claim against the driver?
  6. Over the years safety has been a very important issue on Formula One, and it still is. Security has incredibly increased over the years with more and more safety gadgets, techlogies and car development techniques have been created to make F1 a safer motorsport. Well FIA continues its work in trying to grant that safety continues to evolve in F1 and maybe covering the cockpit might be in the plans. Here is a video from FIA's Intitute of Motor Sport Safety and Sustainability that shows tests of a possible cover of the cockpit. Check the video here What do you think? Is it a good idea? Or do you think it will change F1 forever?
http://hk.news.yahoo.com/article/100827/4/jwx0.html why are they embracing the dead gunman with a national flag? omg..another wrong move...whats wrong w them?

  10. HELP!!! This morning, I noticed my car covered in a lot of small speckles of white paint. Currently, our condo is undergoing a complete new paint job, so it is obvious where the paint came from. My question is if I contact the contractor and ask him to resolve it, most likely he will just get his power jet washer to remove it. Question is, do you think this is acceptable or should I take it to be professionally removed and get him to foot the bill? I will try to take some pictures later to show you the mess it is in!

  12. Am tempted to shop around for a bodykit. But am curious to find out if our insurance cover your bodykit in the event of a "sway sway" accident? Meaning if I get into an accident and my bodykit like my chio chio spoiler or grille kenna damaged beyond repair ... what will happen? 1. Will the repair workshop resusitate the car to its stock state or 2. Will the repair workshop resusitate the car to your chio chio state with the cosmetics mod? 3. Or do you claim the money you spent on the mods and get a new set installed instead of buying the stock set from the car agent? Gut feel is it will be 1 but hoping some brudders here can advise?
