  3. Unit at Hougang Green hits $809 psf 11 April 2011 ChannelNewsAsia Homes in suburbs such as Simei and Buangkok are enjoying a resurgence of interest owing to their affordability and accessibility as new malls and MRT lines are built. The appreciation in the prices of such property is prompting some homeowners to cash out at a profit. In Buangkok, prices at the 99-year leasehold Hougang Green recently hit a peak of $837 psf in February when a 764 sq ft unit on the 10th floor was sold for $640,000. This comes after the launch of a new executive condominium development a few streets away

  6. These 2 highlighted phrases sounded familiar. May see them appearing more in future. Today ST Forum (29/2/08) MediaCorp sorry for anthem error I THANK Mr Pavin Limanont for his letter yesterday, 'O say, can MediaCorp check, please...'. It was a landmark event to have a high-profile Western orchestra performing for the first time in North Korea, and even more astounding to hear the United States anthem played in a hardline communist state. As Mr Limanont pointed out, the first few notes shown in the brief video clip were not the opening bars of the 'Star-Spangled Banner'. It was a mistake that should not have happened and we apologise unreservedly. Han Chuan Quee (Ms) Vice-President Corporate Services MediaCorp News Yesterday Straits Time (28/2/08) Security lapse led to escape of JI leader Mas Selamat, says DPM Wong Mr Wong was responding to questions raised by several concerned MPs in Parliament on Thursday. He said: This should never have happened. I am sorry that it has. An independent investigation is underway and we should not speculate now as to what and how it happened. Security at the centre has been stepped up."

  9. Was reading the article about the Evo 9 Ralliart GT by Jackson Toh on the Hotstuff magazine... I seemed to have read it on the Times Online by Jeremy Clarkson... http://driving.timesonline.co.uk/tol/life_...icle1292206.ece Many sentences are the same...Dunno who got "influenced" by who? 11. As much as we are pretty familiar with ours, I would and I think some of you might want to get familiar with Malaysia's expressways. As you know they do have names like NSE (or NSH to us), NKVE or something. I found this list and hope it is useful to you all. It is through this that I have also found out that Malaysia's expressways are managed by different companies which explains why each of them charges different tolls. E1/E2 North-South Expressway (PLUS) E3 Linkedua - Malaysia-Singapore Second Crossing E5 KESAS - Shah Alam Expressway E6 North-South Expressway Central Link (NSCEL) E7 Lebuhraya Cheras E8 Lebuhraya Kuala Lumpur - Karak E9 Besraya Highway E10 New Pantai Expressway E11 Lebuhraya Damansara - Puchong (LDP) E12 Ampang-Kuala Lumpur Elevated Highway (AKLEH) E15 Lebuhraya Butterworth-Kulim E16 KL Elevated Expressway E18 Kajang Dispersal Link E20 KLIA Dedicated Expressway E21 Lebuhraya Kajang - Seremban E22 East Coast Expressway E23 Lebuhraya SPRINT - West KL Traffic Dispersal System E25 Assam Jawa - Templer Park Highway E26 South Klang Valley Expressway E27 Lebuhraya Timur - Barat E28 West Coast Expressway E29 Lebuhraya Seremban - Port Dickson As for maps. I have no idea which one links to which. PLUS will only show their expressways, different companies will show only their expressways but they don't really show you who links to who. They tell you but don't show you. BTW, the link is here: http://www.kiat.net/malaysia/links.html So maybe if someone can draw some maps or something.
