Hi, i'm currently dealing with a direct seller regarding a car purchase. Right now my loan is approved and i'll meet him next week to pass him balance in cash/cashier order. I'm not sure whether he settled his full settlement with bank as I heard that even if he settle on the spot, it will take about 1 working day for LTA to allow the transfer for DBS auto loan. He informed me that his LTA pin is ready and will handover when I pass him the balance amount. I'm actually pretty confuse...lol

Yeah I know it is a mouth full, but recently I am the new owner to a Honda Civic 1.8A, 2007 model (hence i assumed it is the FD/ FN model?) The car still has the 3 year warranty with Kah Motor though it is ending in a few months. So far I already found a problem with the CD changer, which I managed to get it changed in Kah Motor without charges. Need to ask what other common errors or faults I should check so that I can get replacement with Kah Motor with no or little cost? The car is running smoothly, though when idling, there is a sudden knock (or vibration) the rpm meter doesnt move. I check with the Kah Motor technician, he mentioned it is normal as the aircon operating. is it true? Also when I stop at the traffic light, the brake pad will soften after a while, is this common? Tks in advance

I was in the workshop recently and they recommended Liqui Moly Top Tec 4100 stating that this is recommended for CNG car. Any reason why? What is the equivalent if I do not want to use Liqui Moly 4100? Can any engine oil gurus advise?

Hi, I had booked my car during the COE crash. After one month plus, my SE has not gotten me the COE as the price went up too high. Now, he tells me to top up my guaranteed COE. He gave me three options: a) Top up 1.5K and company top up $500. The company will bid the COE at 14K. b) Top up 2K and company top up $1k. The company will bid the COE at 15K. c) Top up 3K - will definitely get you the COE on the coming bid. For all the above option, strictly no refund unless it drops below 12K. So which option should I take? My feel is that the coming COE will go up by another 1K plus and option b) should be the reasonable option since expected COE will be 14.5K or above(??) But there is another problem. My COE is supposed to be 3 bid guaranteed. So why is there a need for top up??? But the customer have no case for it as in the sales agreement, there is a clause which states that the company have the right to increase the price due to COE increase. But if I continue to wait and not to top up, I may not be able to get my car at all since the COE will only goes up(?) and not down for the coming few months. I do have a trade-in arrangement with them and so I think they will not drag for my COE. Will there be such a case whereby they will not bid for my COE at all and simply just return me my deposit? If so, I can forgo about changing car liao. Any bro or sis can advise?

Hi all, Just want to gather some feedback on which banks actually charge owners a sum of $$ if they want to borrow their vehicle log card out temporarily. The usual reason to borrow the log card is when they want to sell their vehicles and/or want to transfer their licence plates to another vehicle. I know OCBC charges S$52 just for owners to borrow the log card out for 1 week ! Multiple selections allowed...so please state which banks charges $$ and if possible..how much. Cheers
