  2. Hi bros, We always say about restoring headlights. but restoring the headlight is usually exterior. how about internal? Mine headlight inner is cloudy due to HID usage. Anyone has any idea whether we can DIY to restore the inner side of the cover to make it look nice and new again?
  3. Fren just bought a 2006 car, both AA and trusted regular workshop assessed it and said the 45,000km mileage was genuine based on their inspection. The puzzling part is that the paintwork looks really shiit! It looks like someone has used dish washing detergent to bath the car, it looks almost matt! There are hairline scratches, or rather fine cracks here n there. Workshop said need a respray coz no amount or wax + polish can salvage the shine Any advice if there are other methods to restore the shine? Many thanks in advance. The quote fir respray is about 1.5k for the forester. reasonable?

  5. Hi The rubber trims like antenna base and sunroof trim is getting brittle and somewhat cracking. ANy products you guys use to restore and protect from further deteroriations?
  6. it cost $98. the mech will clean the throttle body, then pump some 3M cleaning liquid into the combustion chamer. afer that, 2 cans of additives will be poured into the fuel tank. any of you try this engine restore service? the after results good or not?

  9. some parts of car colour becomes dull after using those japanese magic sponge to remove some persistent dirt. Is it the wax that is removed or the paint ? Does polishing/waxing helps ?
