If the owners do take care of the oil changes I am positively sure the failures will be minimal, though the question if the gearbox is as durable as the standard auto is questionable, as many sites have indicated that a well cared CVT gearbox has a lifespan of 120-160K km, while an standard box will last far longer with minimal maintenance! Are the above infos true? My Airwave gearbox just gameover at 220 000 km. A mechanic I spoke to told me that this is a very common problem. One of his customer's Odyssey game over at 160 000km.

Notice that Recyko battery has shorter life span than Eneloop, they start to fail even before 1000 charges, dropped from 2000+ mah -> 1700+ mah, so far Eneloop don't have this issue yet.

my tv of more than 6 yrs has recently began to show fade of greenish patch in one particular spot. But it goes and comes back on at times.... is this sign of up lorry?? or is there any remedy to it??

hi i had 2no of unopened engine oil which i thinkin of using next servicing but worried as i got it 2 years ago.. both are synth oil . anyone know the lifespan?

Lets sae for 6mths i have driven only 4k km (including frequent being abroad) do i still need to change engine oil?? does the engine oil have any life span before its quality gets lousier??

Hi Guys, I just got the HKS Power Filter for my drive but it did not state how long the filter can last on the box. According to the guy at the shop, he said it's able to last 30k-40k mileage. Is that accurate? Can this filter be washed with water when I want to clean it?

Under Singaporean driving conditions (lots of short distance drives, with occassional N-S adventures), until what mileage (kms) can a typical engine work up to before needing an overhaul? An overhaul can only lasts about 50kms, the last time I've heard. Is this correct? I have seen cars in Msia going with 500K mileage and still moving?! Owners say no overhaul whatsoever. Is he lying? Msian cars travel longer distances (many times more!) than Spore cars due to the land size and also traffic. Any bro has experiences to share?

How long do you usually go before you do an oil change for your synthetic oil ..... 10K ? Does your FC drops just about 7000km after oil change ? Can most oil last the distance ? Good guide would be to check colour of oil and also how many months it's there since we all cover different mileage ... is 6 month or 10K a good guide ?
