Nav14 6th Gear July 16, 2012 Share July 16, 2012 SQ service standards are declining. The attitude of the younger generation who form the present cohort of stewards/stewardesses partly to blame. Food quality is also declining. They seem to be cutting corners in some areas. Cathay definitely do not deserve No 4. Its subsidiary Dragonair does a much better job. Karu 6th Gear July 16, 2012 Share July 16, 2012 the last tigerair flight i took, the male cabin crews really no pride in term of grooming and presentation. budget really employ budget looking staff and attitude. Reminds me of my last flight on Tiger, the steward got a funny way of speaking english, not angmo slang but his own way of twisting & turning the the intonation. Really LMAO whenever he made announcement. Really sia suay S'poreans!! The stewardess really lived up to their names, 'Airport Runways' calibre! Finnair has resumed flights since last year... few months back i took that from Singapore-Helsinki..They are using A340-300 SIN-HEL-SIN flights.. Yes, direct to Helsinki..flight duration is about 12 hours...for Aurora..yes..can be seen especially in Lapland! Can also see Angry Bird too! Heh The locals know how to speak English, in fact relatively good actually... Helsinki is easy to F&E...the city centre is not very big actually...beautiful clean city i must say!! Try call their hotline, it will put on hold until s--t comes out still no one answer. Then if going to their counter in Ion, SA always mentionplease do it online "Helloooooo" I think these SQ SA think that people has to many time visting their service center if can be solved online. Reality is people frustated with their online service and go their counter in Ion, just to be told to go online again...I think 99% people blood will get boiled with this kind of service. I already experience it personally 2 times. Another thing is their krisflyer points now are worthless....and difficult to book flight once in the redeemption mode. All except Turkish Airlines are either from Asia or Middle East.. have u tried taking american airlines before?? Delta, united or AA? These airlines are truly the pits. Pui.
