sigh...got scammed on credit card.

5 transactions from Uber Canada / Uber trip. I've reported to UOB.

I've never been out of Sg for many years. I don't even have a valid passport. 🤥

Same experience for me as well.   Transactions in the Netherlands a few years back, also on the UOB credit card.

I cancelled my UOB cc thereafter.

i also received a call claim from wechat around the same time in december, told me duno what security thing expiring soon, can tell me some of my wechat detail hence can call me. I ask how serious if i dun do anything, they say risk of account been compromised, then i ask can it be done over the app to activate or whatever need to be done, he say he can do it over the call. Eventually i told him i can do it myself thank you! 

i dun even use my wechat except for downloading the app n input some basic detail, no bank/card input

Wife received a call for Maybank saying she has a $3k transaction at JP and unauthorized.

 

I took over the phone and said impossible as she was at my funeral.. And then asked him if his mom is ok💀

I ystd also kenna one. Say what they from DBS loan dept, ask me to double confirm my mortgage loan or smth.

my sis said my dad almost got scammed. 

Called and told Alipay etc. Gave them the credit card number inside Alipay. 

Just happened my sis was in the house, immediately called to lock up the credit card (lucky she went to check as my dad gave the wrong bank CC also).
