Damienic 5th Gear October 28, 2012 Share October 28, 2012 (edited) This is what written on the CnC price list and was told by the SE too. first time I ever heard a AD asking the customer to put in deposit for the coe bidding. weird. then it should just say downpayment 15k instead of 5K. by right if it ask the customer to put in the 10k deposit, then they should be selling the car exclusive of coe and then the customer bids the coe by himself. if they are selling the car inclusive of coe, then the AD should put in the deposit required for coe bidding themselves. Porche 5th Gear October 28, 2012 Share October 28, 2012 My recent trip to Germany convinced me never to buy a "luxury" German car. Down there they use E200 new model as cab. 118i probably costs 20k euros there? If really die die need to drive BM, maybe a 2nd hand 3 series? Y so surprised? We r using we E class as cabs here too. Over at Germany they use BMW as can and police car as well. First time to Europe?
Rayoflight 5th Gear October 28, 2012 Share October 28, 2012 in korea, i45 also used as cabs.. whats the biggie with using their own national makes as cabs? singapore dont even have our own make..
Civic6228 6th Gear October 29, 2012 Share October 29, 2012 Well, the price difference between the 116i and 118i is about +/- 20k. 170hp vs 136 HP plus some additional stuff for 118i .... same engine ...... TS, 170 HP is nice ..... but for local driving condition ? U decide ... Have been reading reviews for the A class, and most of the review did not really give it a thumbs up .... Among the the three .... A3, 1 series and A class.... it seems that the A3 has the better review .... but again, it is really down to personal preference ... Dezouk Clutched November 5, 2012 Share November 5, 2012 Personally I tested it 118, the legroom behind is pathetic. Drive is quite fun n quite balanced. Maybe for. $20k additional, perhaps can consider chip the 116 n save the rest?
Becool73 1st Gear November 5, 2012 Share November 5, 2012 Hi, My sis just bought the 118i m package. She has never been happier. And i always end up driving it when we go for visits. Something i look forward to on weekends. I am currently driving a Mark x of my own. But the moment i jump into the 118i, its a different world. My bro in law drives and A4 so i have tried best of the two conti cars in sg market now plus a reasonably well built jap car, so i guess i can vouch for the 118i. Nice car. Handles pretty well and better ride then the A4 which is more jittery. The FC is pretty good. Since it comes with the ECO mood system, start stop, you will be constantly able to regulate your trottle to keep in check of your driving techniques. And i am 1.8, 93kg. Not a small guy and even i can find a nice seating position for long drives. SO go grab it if you havn't. And get the M package. The normal 118i dosnt have that umpph. You will not regret it. Cheers! Throttle2 Supersonic November 6, 2012 Share November 6, 2012 what if sum1 tell u the hardware is the same, & u pay 20K for software tuning to make extra 30hp? lol i believe it's different. the 116 and 118 has differences in terms of options and not just HP. if just software, then $20k not so worthwhile. but I prefer to have it factory set
Darryn Turbocharged November 6, 2012 Share November 6, 2012 If considering 118, in the $180-$200 price band also have 159 Sportwagon Octavia VRS Toyota 86 I would rather get any of these than the 118 ↡ Advertisement
