Thaiyotakamli Supersonic June 27, 2013 Share June 27, 2013 Can some experienced bros here provide a hierarchy of swiss watches in terms of overall perceived atasness, prestige as a buying guide for me? Examples of some stratospheric brands..Vacheron Constantin, Ulysse Nardin etc High Tier: Patek, Frank Mueller? Upper Mid Tier..Rolex Mid tier brands..Tag, Omega Lower Mid Tier..Ball, Raymond Weil Entry level swiss...?? Victorinox? Chickenbackside 1st Gear June 27, 2013 Share June 27, 2013 I propose a sub category: Brands with a "douch-ey" image - Richard Mille, Frank Muller, Robert Dubuis, Hublot, Panerai, any watch jointly marketed with cars or celebrities like Panerai/Ferrari, AP/Schumacher...etc. Technically nice watches but mostly worn by people who like Ed Hardy fashion. Brands with an "un-douch-ey" image would include Lange, FP Journe, NOMOS...etc. Although some brands have a respectable image, they have models that are extremely douch-ey. AP has plenty of those in their ROO range.
