Ya...some of the TC Se are pain in the ass..especially some of the ones at ubi....really no customer service.

Luckily in the end..i got a very gd one frm bukit timah branch

i am quite lucky then. My wife and I are pretty happy with our SE. Very patient and willing to take the extra mile, like helping me submit bids to LTA for Number plate bidding twice. And she always replies my queries very promptly via whatsapp or call as well.

You are lucky. :)

There was a very good SE we met at C&C Mitsubishi who bothered to followed up with us since our meeting with him at a roadshow in July. I also know of a few very pleasant and professional SEs at Citroen and Kia.

Heck, even luxury car showroom SEs are more courteous and they don't make me feel like I owe them anything!

Booked my car aldy, awaiting coe bidding for tomorrow, fingers crossed i'll get it.

Btw to all those bro here whom has already collected their cars, can i ask a few questions?

1. Does your car comes together with the electrical retractable side mirrors when you off the car?

2. At the side of all doors does it has a lighting on the sides for easier accessing during night time?

3. What accessories do you guys buy?

4. The stock hu can play vids?

Any tips n tricks? Or any cool function that the se nvr mentioned but you guys know of?

The qashqai thread has a lot of stuff to learn from

Thank you

It wasn't love at first sight for me either but I didn't totally strike it off. When buying a car, especially if it is intended for 10 years of use, you probably want to avoid a situation at the later stage why didn't i get this or that. In the end, i chosen a car that addresses most of my needs than wants.

same sentiments.

I was so so so keen to get the Harrier. But having to pay 7k more (Harrier elegance) and getting way lesser than what Xtrail can give... i sat there and imagined a few months down the road if I was to get harrier, and i knew for sure I will regret.

Eventually very paiseh, had to tell the SE at the PI i decided to get the Xtrail instead.

With similar specs of harrier, getting xtrail is like buying the car with 10 years free road tax.

Haha. I tot I am the only one.

But most reviews are based on 2.5L engine. And I watched until I started feeling that our RHD version looks unfamiliar to me... Lol

Taiwanese reviews are pretty good to watch.

i always wacth "buycartv" car review on youtube... [thumbsup]

That bells n whistles which came with the x trails, the sheer quality, the MIJ/ AD longer term peace of mind and the options that you can have with the 2nd rows ( up or down whether u want it or not ), it was very tempting and I was so close to saying yes to it to say the least. My wife and sis in law went for it in a heart beat, it was a toss for me and my son with its stable mate cousin Edited by EricChan

I saw this guy moving out of the 3rd row awkwardly..somemore he is not tall or big size. Even if 2nd row push front for minimal leg space, the 3rd row really got no legroom for kids.. like really for kids below 7 yo.

Though it's priced at an attractive price.. i feel i might change it out sooner than expected if i buy it.

Just monitor and see first for now. [laugh]

Showroom was really packed until no SEs were free man...

Everyone was signing contract hahaha

Worst..the placed a hot red Xtrail with cream colour interior.. immediate turn off.. lol

Actually the Elgrand interior is much more comfy and soothing to the eyes.. the seats really plush and better quality but of course with a 30ish grand premium
