Pte Ltd companies you cant sue the owner/shareholder right

A Pte Ltd company is a separate legal entity from the owner / shareholder / director. So even sue, is sue the company and not the owner(s). But in some cases, can directly sue the director for negligence (IIRC).

it require a long process of planning (could take months or years), every detail have to be convincing and well executed...

This guy different, he's doing forgery. But I like the part where he had the airline stewardess training stuff... Sibei power!

I think if the people power comes in like in the case of Jover Chew this Volks Auto will have much difficulty to run and authorities may step in. We cannot underestimate the people power.

It seems like anybody can get away nowadays as long as it is legally done...

No lah. If get AD to service, there is a proper record and it adds value to the car when selling

Tyres and batteries of course no need to go AD lah [laugh] [laugh]

I also share the same thinking!

Except for battery and tyre and polishing, all my other servicing done by AD.

Pay more, but for a peace of mind.

consumer protection and workers right are superficial in singapore...

Here in this country, it has been always pro-business since the day lighting strike. Consumer Protection and even Worker Rights is an after thought, in some past case non-existent! The chances of getting back deposit is slim, like Virginia Super Slim!

Ya... I think it makes money sense. Can sell higher price and buyer also more confident when buying. :D

My car left 2 yrs to scrap, I still service at agent. They do a thorough check at each servicing and highlight the wear and tear parts that need to replace, which I get it replaced with recon parts if avail, or OEM brand new parts at my regular workshop.

Some things can save, some cannot. No point to be penny wise, pound foolish. I have heard of some outside workshops which use recycled engine oil packaged in original packaging.

If they have service staff that eats banana like your avatar while customer is waiting to collect their car, I am sure 100% of bro here will agree !

I used to go back to AD... then I found a mechanic that is really good at what he does. The car rides smoother after each servicing, better than AD's servicing, which is rather mechanical in checking and cost 2x more. The experienced ones can feel, hear the car and know when to replace/adjust the parts, those at AD just follow the service manual, no value added. Of course won't spolit lah, you replace before it is even half worn out.

But good mechanics are hard to come by but with MCF, it flatten the learning curve a little.

I agree with that.

I had a bad experience with an AD before. They were hopeless and betrayed my trust in them!

From start, a brand new PI which offer $10k cheaper. I won't even want to step in. Cannot understand what those buyer who think they got a good deal think.

We know all car dealer here always asking for ridiculous profit margin...
