According to ST associate editor Ivan Fernandez, Dr Lee insisted on publishing a version of her article that contained significant sections of tex were plagiarised.  The evidence presented by Ivan Fernandez looks compelling.

For some may be suspicious of LWL of what she is currently doing or others may praised her for what she had been doing.

 

For me, personally, it is refreshing, regardless of their political agenda, to read of things LWL writes in the papers.

 

She did accuse the SPH editors of several issues:

 

1. 3 editors were required to vet her articles before being published. SPH is a public listed company, why is their editors (3) assigned just to edit LWL articles. Shouldn't the editors be using their time fruitfully to generate more income for their shareholders.

 

2. All that is said by the editors being independent from influence, they did not mentioned the most recent publish reply by the editor whether before it was published was it first send to PM for vetting.

 

3. Plagiarising is just an excuse, as an editor, they should be smart enough to rewrite (or asked her to rephrase or credit given to the sections lifted) and then published.

 

Those citizens who had written in to SPH but frustrated to find their articles in the rubbish bin can take solace that even LWL had been rejected not once but many times before.

It's laughable. .

Even if it's totally rewritten, it's the political message that's being banned.

They're just looking for a face saving way out.

They never expected lwl to use fb and go public. They tot Lhl will control her la.

It's really mind-boggling why LWL is alleging some "powers that be" is instructing the SPH editors to censor her articles.

 

What "powers that be"?? Spectra, or Dr Evil???

 

Why she never straight out say its the govt, namely who?

 

I sense some paranoia in her postings now.

 

These elites really got too much time, better to spend it thinking how to solve bigger problems facing us now. The rest of singapore just don't care who is right or wrong, all just    happily.

To the chinese (and I'm not sure about other cultures), 1st year death anniversary is quite a big thing. 

 

I remember when my grandmother passed away suddenly 13 years ago, her 1st year anniversary, my uncle did quite a lot of things. It was a 3 day affair, macham like having another funeral.
