Lala81 Hypersonic August 10, 2016 Share August 10, 2016 My Note 4 ok leh. Maybe cuz I don't like my pants too slim. I ask the tailor to make them abit more roomy and no problems putting them in my pants. Can't even see the outline of the phone unless you look closely. Anyway, i carry a bag almost everywhere i go so it usually ends up in my bag. No problem for me cuz I have had this habit of putting my phones in my bag long before there were smartphones. As for jeans, have ordered my jeans with deeper pockets so I can put my phone in my front pockets. But the outline of the phone is obvious and ugly so I usually put it in my bag, or on weekends with more casual outfits, I just have a phone pouch attached to my belt lo. Put in the pocket only when I need to put it there for a moment only. My dad loves to put his in his shirt pocket but it always falls out whenever he bends down to pick something or tie shoelaces. yeah i wear loose fitting pants around the thigh area, so my pockets are bigger. Also my pants have pleats, so looser. ↡ Advertisement
Kangadrool Supersonic August 10, 2016 Share August 10, 2016 Typical characteristics of most Android smartphones. Suggest switch back to fruit phone. Even if fruit phone gives problem, still feel more sakti than carrying an Android phone. At least, it gives you more dignity. A bit of off tropic. I have previously used iPhone and I switched to note 4 about 2 years ago.I love the phone but have 3 key issues. Not sure there are ways to overcome them? Due for phone changes so will decide if I should still stick to Samsung.1) the phone hangs often and I need to press the on/off button by the side in order to use it.2) sometime it goes crazy on the screen and start dialling by itself. The only way to stop is to off the phone completely. After that it work normal for a long time.3) sometime the phone gets hot and battery drains off even I am not using it. Again after switching off and on the phone, it is OK.
Stratovarius Turbocharged August 11, 2016 Share August 11, 2016 Note 7 is entirely based on S7. Exact same hardware. Is not about the hardware. Most flagships has similar hardware. Its the user interface. I believe the note series is different from the s with the note catering for the s pen.

I believe the note series is different from the s with the note catering for the s pen. It's just the app that is different. What's so difficult supporting a S pen? How can it be more versatile than your finger? Virtually any app on android can support a stylus. Just like how you can use a stylus on any android tablet/phone. Just that the S memo etc apps in Note utilise a stylus function to the maximum. The Touchwiz customisation of android is just slightly different. So you're saying that this customisation makes the android/touchwiz unstable. That's just minor software issues. Granted if they can't fix it then that sucks lor.
Blueray Hypersonic August 11, 2016 Share August 11, 2016 My S7 edge already sticks out of my shirt pocket like a sorethumb......putting in my jeans/pants is impossible to even sit down or squat down... cos it sticks out from your jeans / pants ? Kar_lover Supercharged August 11, 2016 Share August 11, 2016 I saw the Note 7 demo set, although found it look and feel very good, I find it difficult to justify forking out $1168 for a phone. Nowadays most other brands of phone offer good models at around half of this price. You can likely get slightly below $1k elsewhere. And after a couple of months for sure will be below $1k. Price always high at beginning. And 64GB iphones are much more expensive at launch.

At least, it gives you more dignity. not all driods.. some give u grief.. at least to me. a couple years ago i bought xiaomi.. mi4 .. then to my horror it can't even encrypt despite the standard andriod option there. then checked out the web and there were a lot of complains xiaomi phones have left this function out...imagine that for being the flagship model it was required for my work as company policy required the phone encrypted... after a few days of futile attempts, i gave it to my mom to play angry bird... and then went back to samsung.. it give me a peace of mind despite being more expensive. Sunny Hypersonic August 11, 2016 Share August 11, 2016 My S6 edge and now my S7 edge, tried plastic fim/tempered glass screen protector until I gave up and use them naked. there is no technology that can SP these curve edge screens effectively yet. Ui is not customized andriod but act as interface between user and andriod, thus user interface. It is well known that note always have battery and over heating issues while s is better. Im not saying this is true but probably is ui issues given that both phones hve similar hardware.
