I understand he spent a long time customising and prepping for this trip. Over a year. Mod suspension gearbox bumper engine tune etc.

 

He really planned well ahead for it.

 

Heard his is not first owner and the GTR left 2-3 years to scrap. But now this car got hero status maybe will renew.

Also read he de-tuned the engine to except lower grade fuel, but it's still powerful...

I saw this news earlier too.

Watched a cycling race (world toughest) across the same or similar route. The landscape was amazing.
