a friend booked the lux and converted to a firm order on Friday. According to him, first 100 temp orders get launch invites to Ritz. And since he converted his order from temp to firm, he was given another to bring his partner.

Looks like the SE doesn't think you are a serious buyer? I thought this is a 5min job for them. Just enter details with IC and whatsapp their dealer friends.

Yah I think so...she see me don't look like I can afford type hehe :)

A bit late lah, recently went Forester test drive with wifey so she already knows what it looks like. She prefers its rugged look to the Harrier's soft premium look.

haha ... Andrew, she is stopping you to get new toy at additional 30k for premium and 27k for luxury version of Harrier Turbo ... looks like she will get her bags and watches.

Cheers,

I posted before in the old thread.

Everything is relative. If you are coming from an Altis, of course one will find it smooth and powerful.

But if you are coming from conti turbo or 2.2L turbodiesel then one might find the power lacking.

Hi Fcw75,

Indeed .... wish I did not test drove the FXT :(

Cheers,

Cheers,

First I have to convince her against the Subaru Outback saying the road tax is too high like my current 2.5L. She does not even want the fxt, preferring the fna!! Anyway, I will be bringing her to the Audi, MB and BMW showroom next before showing her the Harrier again. wish me luck with the financial controller.

Just wondering what is the attraction to a Toyota factory visit huh?

Just like if I am being invited to gardenia/meadowlee factory visit because I buy their first launch bread and butter.

If it is some bespoke rare hand built engine car factory where the engine and car gets the signature inscribed onto their finished craft, that will be more exciting.

But yeah, I guess a free pair of tickets to go fly to Japan to visit Disneyland Tokyo might be more attractive.....or a 2K discount off the list price.

:D

Can see the iconic 2000GT or the grp A celica gt4 anot?

they probably mean locally fitted. whats is there to customized.

Was told it's a Pioneer head set with 7" display customised for Singapore.

Don't think anyone can know for sure until the first unit is registered. But I suspect it would not be a pretty picture unlike the selling price.

Anyone can share the OMV and ARF of the Harrier Turbo?

On 2nd thought, Pioneer would not just customise a head unit for the small Singapore market.  They probably meant some changes were made to cater for Singapore (eg radio receiver).

Agree that they should have allowed buyers a choice of screen sizes or even brand of the head unit.  The 7" display is tiny compared to the overall size of the central console.
