The solution is to build wider overhead bridges 🤣. Since PCN already have cycling tracks and footpath combine, it's so wide now.

The idea of having to dismount ....

Is only a good idea ...but I think it create jobs for enforcement.🤣

 

It's like building 5 lanes expressway....Then a single lane exit with traffic light close to the exit....

or single lane connecting to another expressway....

Causing bottle necks and traffic build up......

That is because they are not keeping a safe following distance when they are in middle of lane.

So the easy way out and excuse is to lane split instead of correcting the basic error?

then of course they will retort with other excuses like, car/lorry drivers do not give them the space while they are in the middle of the lane and try to over take them dangerously. As far as I am concern, if I chance upon a rare motorcyclist that rides in the middle of the lane, I will give it the necessary space as if there is a car in front of me.

I prefer motorcyclist riding in middle of lane, especially during non peak hours. 

It's safer to overtake them. 

If they a lane splitting between 1st and 2nd lane passing them on either side will be close encounter.

If peak hours then all cars moving at 30km/hr then up to motorcyclist to lane split, just don't lose balance and side scratch the cars.
