Woman in shock after cyclist allegedly hits her from behind, kicks her chest at Rail Corridor

A woman was left bruised and shaken after a cyclist allegedly hit her from behind before kicking her in the chest at the Rail Corridor on May 19.

The cyclist then allegedly rode away but returned shortly after, apologised and asked for his “computer”.

Sam said she and her family were confused and did not know what he meant.

“Upon seeing other people (in the vicinity), the cyclist immediately toned down, became quiet with his head down and looked at the floor,” Sam added.

During this time, she took photos of him that she shared with Stomp.

Police report lodged

A cyclist was killed in an accident along the Bukit Timah Expressway (BKE) towards the Pan Island Expressway (PIE) on May 29 morning.

The incident caused traffic congestion in the area as emergency responders attended to the scene. A blue tent could be seen placed on the road while vehicles moved slowly past the affected lane during rainy weather conditions.

What is a cyclist doing on the expressway in the first place?
Hope the driver won't get punished over this.

Motor or bicycle? Likely wrongly reported. 

The front of a motorbike could be seen in a photo, so motorcyclist is likely correct.

or you are referring to the post before? Then yes you are correct.

When i was cycling in Beijing, going down hill at 50 - 55km/h is quite normal.  I am using rim brake with carbon rim.

Yes she descended too fast. 

My older bike was also carbon wheels and rim brake almost can't make a turn when it was raining. Speed wasn't even high was on ECP service road turing into PCN😅

Carbon wheel on rim brake must use brake pad from factory.

My wheel is made by Giant Supplier.  I have been using Giant brake pad.

For rainy day, just extra precaution.

Raining then stop and hide lah! When want to get wet?

That's you from East Coast Park to TCMR and back.

Ppl usually continue as they are 20 - 30km away from starting/finishing point.

Pointless to stop unless poor visibility.

End of group cycle.... Was cycling home.... Slight drizzle, not really heavy rain .... Press on 10km then it's home already. 

But that day maybe have oils on the rim.
