Great advice.

Have fun with speed at minimal risk. Key is to gauge the speed, road conditions and what the full bicycle system can withstand during cornering.

Just like driving cars, good tires, entry and exit speed... not exceeding the speed limit...of the car handling capacity too much😅 max performance envelope.

End of group cycle.... Was cycling home.... Slight drizzle, not really heavy rain .... Press on 10km then it's home already.

But that day maybe have oils on the rim.

for me when rain i will stop my ride and take Grab home.. not worth the risk..

Yes she descended too fast.

My older bike was also carbon wheels and rim brake almost can't make a turn when it was raining. Speed wasn't even high was on ECP service road turing into PCN😅

And was it a van then? 😅

No van lah...

I'm not so stupid like the girl cyclist. 🤣

Just that I've almost bumped into my friend riding beside me.... Luckily he's at my right...

Because my turning radius was wider.... So it was me almost going towards the pole.

I like to say my handling skills on 2 and 4 wheels still quite agile.

Good outcome but not good enough, should have  jailed him longer.

Cyclist who fought with bus driver in road rage incident serves sentence but appeals

https://www.channelnewsasia.com/singapore/cyclist-fight-bus-driver-punggol-appeal-6250001

The news reported 10 seconds on the horn.

Could that had triggered the road rage.

10 seconds persistent or intermittent is a long long "duration" .

"Khong sounded his horn for about 10 seconds and applied the emergency brake to avoid hitting the bicycle"

Agree, press horn for so long for what, but maybe the cyclist has also been blocking the bus for a long time.

I reported the same type of Incident last year while riding my E-Bike along the Dual Lanes Bencoolen Street,i already keep to the left, less than a Meter from Kerb, the Bus,cannot pass me..so the Driver horned me from Middle Rd to Bras Basah Rd..i scolded the Driver,i told him,i am allowed to use the all Red Bus Lane.

You can be right but dead/paralysed. If a big bus is trying to pass for a long time, why not just stop and get onto the pavement for a few seconds and let them pass first?

I will skip Bencoolen Street as traffic is too bz to cycle.

It is almost as good as walking on pavement if stop and get onto the pavement.
