Racist Hong Kong Protesters - A look inside

Earlier in this thread, I mentioned, one of the main reason I felt  is the HKer fear, especially the younger generation, is they will be a ah Tiong after 2047. 🤣

Labeling protestors and opponents as terrorists is a overused tactics, but attacking innocent civilians and civilian installations to bring notice to or advance your political agenda or cause, isn’t that exactly what the Islamist terrorists are doing and how they justify their atrocities?

Don’t know this video has been posted here or not.  The interview conducted by Sebastian Tim in Berlin between Sebastian Tim and a HK student leader.   Tim Sebastian trashed her form start to the end! Ready worth watching

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QKS6e31STE0

Thanks for sharing this video.

The HK student leader can't defend the indefensible - the escalating and uncontrollable violence, the attacks on dissenting people and Chinese-backed properties, their version of "democracy", refusal for dialogue, a demand to absolve the rioters of crime (undermining the rule of law), bringing down the house of all other Hong Kongers who are not supporting this movement, and the vow to carry on this violence indefinitely.

Tim has asked good legitimate questions, but Joey's answers are shambolic. I'm somewhat convinced this is the end of a glorious HK era if such a person is the best representative of their students.

HK will be the reason why Taiwan will never want One Country Two System.

Was one country two systems really the reason hkg failed? I don't see the "lousier" system failing their own countrymen so badly le.

Maybe. Probably they want ‘democracy’ and don’t want to be called ah tiong...haha. To be frank, we don’t live in HK so won’t know how China is affecting HK people life in terms of education, housing, etc.

That’s what Cai Yingwen is advocating and her support actually surpassed Han Guoyu. Her support was lower than him before this HK saga.

Sometimes it’s how one view things from different viewpoint. China will probably tell her citizens ‘Look what democracy has done to HK’ while Taiwan will tell her citizens ‘Look what One Country Two Systems has done to HK’. 🤷🏻‍♂

Using Falungong?

Not mentioned in any reports I read since 1989.

Students did not lynch him, but even western media also report that he was unsuccessful in achieving anything during those sessions.

Falungong was founded in 90s.

This violence proved there's no democracy the HK ppl are seeking. Anyone who thinks differently get brutalised, burned, assaulted and beaten. How are these actions democratic? Just because there are some who thinks differently they get attacked. If a govt body did the same it would be called tyranny.

This type of violence will only reach a point of no return. No chance for an end or even see peace in the near future. I think HK can get ready to pack up and call it a day. A failed state indeed.
