beating amber light is not a problem but i think he accelerated to beat the amber light, resulting in his longer stopping distance. Can see that he had braked quite early but his braking distance was not short enough. The other consideration is if one sees cars start turning, better be prepared to have more cars following suit , so at least the mind must be on the brake if the foot has not.

Key: "beating amber light is not a problem". Hence regardless of our perceived thots, he did not break traffic light related offense. Unless he has been proven to speed. "He accelerates to beat amber light", there is only a conjecture.

Both cars very solid. No turn turtle, no spinning around [thumbsup]

The SUV got hit very solid, as if like not much crumple? That SUV seems like X-trail or Outlander?

Actually I also no skill... So after driving for 18 years,  I think I only parallel park about 4 times only. 😸😸

insurance and workshops should thank LTA for their brilliant traffic light system + 2 complete muppets..

I wonder whether the front cross traffic alert will help the turning vehicle?

Not surprising. Singaporeans are not so good at parallel parking since not so many places need to do that

I love compact hatchbacks for this reason - make me feel very song when I can parallel park into tight spaces 😁

Passengers who know me will always hear me say the same thing after I parallel parked.

Why the lot draw until so big, no challenge at all.

This type of driver with all the technology at his expense still can’t park.. worse still can’t check blind spot when trying to run.. take this menace off the road!

How you able to siam all the parallel lot? Actually if a person scare of parallel park, drive a hatchback car best. Even vertical parking also easier with a hatch car. Lol.

I seldom go out.  If really need, I will find one that is at the front or back or empty front or back.
