Use handphone to call for a plumber , use eye power then pay 180 bucks ... Dun later go change yourself then end up injured your fingers or back lo ..

I've bought some tools from this Ingco (China) brand. The quality is quite good.

1. Cordless rotary hammer - which I probably made 50 holes in concrete already, still working well.

2. Casing - cheap and good, compares well with Stanley quality, at half the price.

So maybe from POV of branded tools, this may work for you. I'd rather get one with some anti-rust coating. Hate it when it get rusty.

I just got this from Shopee. It's very nice and cheap. $7 Ingco tool. Folding handle ratchet with CrV bits, (will not rust). I like the Pozidriv, Pz bits bcuz I have Pz screws, which are from Ikea.

Much better than a Stanley I got. 😁

My kitchen sink drainage flow has been slow. 

Don't think I have ever opened this bottle trap. Legacy from prev owner. Was hard to unscrew but that's cos the Teflon tape got stuck. Cleaned up a lot of gunk in bottle trap.

The O ring is partly torn, think someone used scotch tape to hold it back together (doesnt seem like silicone).

Tried to screw back but it seems like it will keep popping loose whenever fully tighten. It's not supposed to be like that right? Also despite few layers of Teflon tape (up to 5 already), still having some slow leakage.

Ran out of Teflon tape.

Looks like I need to buy a new bottle trap tomorrow.

I have never open kitchen sink bottle trap. Whether the flow would get affected, think all depend what you pour into the kitchen sink.

@Lala81 do not overclean this. Just unscrew and junk the gunk will do. Forget about cleaning the bowl and thread as it will lead to leak. Yes, do not over tighten also as it will keep spinning.

Too late. already leaking. I can try putting more Teflon tape when I get more. But I'm not sure issit due to the partly torn o ring. 

My basin one had no issue leh. Cleaned out my MBR one before.

Bottle trap watertight is by the o-rings and gaskets, not teflon tape.

Get a new trap and you can see all the gaskets that come with it. Remember there are 2 sizes for bottle trap, a smaller one for bedroom toilets and a larger one for kitchen sink. Don't buy the wrong one.
