Could there be this possibility where the new “Toyota” bids aggressively for higher market share and uses their margin per car to absorb part of the increase? 😉

LTA has spoken.

 

 COE prices this round are partly because the last tender was three weeks ago instead of the usual two. There was also a car roadshow at the end of September.
"More broadly, the lower costs of EVs especially from China, as well as the reduction of incentives for cleaner energy vehicles, have also added to demand," LTA said.

"We advise car buyers to be prudent in bidding for COEs."

Phv just raise fare and pass on cost to consumer. So far no hear people take grab or order grab delivery say fare cannot take it. It is the car owners that cmi 😆

Likely cause last round coe up $11k, but they increased their car price for $15k-$17k. So they sure can absorb the coe increase.

Taking PHV nowadays is quite ex. Smelly smelly at least $20 even for short distance.

Tmr will hap someone write to ST suggest smelly ppl be entitled to cheaper COE otherwise pollute bas or mrt
