Question for the Vezel bros, I saw one Vezel on the road with the LED lights under the main headlight but within the headlight housing, is that the DRL?

JDM cars don't have DRL but I'm wondering where they added the lights. Especially for the models which the AD version comes with DRL but PI one doesn't. Can the DRL bulbs be added to the headlight housing?

Will LTA be able to remember PI vs AD models and identify aftermarket DRL?

yap. that's the DRL... it within the headlight housing & its factory fitted for vezel...

however, if u do see DRL that is below the headlight (besides the fog light).. those are aftermarket DRL which I believe is not LTA friendly...

I see. I was told the Japanese authorities don't allow DRL, that's why the JDM models don't come fitted with DRLs. Funny that Vezel has it from factory.

I'm getting the PI Odyssey and the location where DRL is supposed to be, does not have any bulbs. AD Odyssey has DRL at the same spot. That's why I'm wondering if it's possible to fit them.

Going back to PI or even AD workshop are mainly due to worry about warranty.

If the car is MIJ, I don't think can be so unlucky to have a main quality issue for the.

My previous PI car drive for 3yrs+ without any issue and only the 1st 1k service done at their WS. After that I move to my prefer WS already.

Yes, my MIJ car from PI I bought did not give much problem. With the abundance of info/lobang in MCF and other forum, I have replaced normal wear-and-tear part with reasonable price. Some AD is really sucking his thumb and badmouths all PIs in general. What I understand, AD won't even touch PI cars, though it means business for them. :(

the popularity of Vezel can only show KM HRV sucks big time !!! lol

u r right bro. I happen to meet several Vezel owners in a WS. They say the spec of HRV is much lower than Vezel and yet KM selling HRV higher than PI's Vezel...How to compete... :)

I don't think KM got choice. JDM are meant for Japan.

Yes, if they have the choice. They will bring in MIJ model.

They are in this industry for so many year. They know the market well.

HRV just an 'extra' model to bring in for sell. Can sell the best.

If can't they are still many other models to support them.

Actually its not really DRL...it is a small headlight that only lits when the surrounding is slightly dim. The big headlights turn on when its dark. If want real DRL need to install aftermarket one.

In that case they might not be day-time running lights but instead they could be sidelights/parking lights.

You're right bro. To them, Can sell then good, cannot sell also nvm.

However from what I understand from one of the KM's SE, surprisingly HR-V's sales are not as lousy as what we think.

My MSCP at buangkok got 3 vezel & 2 HR-V.

Re-quote what i posted in the Part 1 vezel thread on why some people prefer HRV why some prefer vezel:

from what i read over 6 months in forum, various FB pages and chatting with SE from PI & KM. Some conclusion i found:

People who bought HR-V:

- Don't feel safe to buy from PI.

- Die die must avoid PI, and get from AD. (Mostly uncle auntie)

- Do not know the difference between hr-v & vezel. And thought that specs is the same. (Just go to KM, try & see whether the SE will tell u vezel is DOHC HRV is SOHC, LED vs Halogen, many other features cruise control etc.)

- Probably more hassle-free when comes to servicing or maintenance with AD's workshop

- Believe in higher resale value for AD cars vs PI cars.

People who bought vezel over HR-V:

- Want the better spec & features,

- Some say faster with higher bhp.

- Much cheaper than HR-V, but takes risk buying from PI. (Finds HR-V overpriced for the spec)

- Take risk with workshop assigned by the PI.

- Better FC, more airbags

- made in Japan, not Thai

End of the day, do homework, buy something within your comfort zone.

Both are good cars =)

Hi Guys, I have just ordered a Electric Blue Vezel S. Due to arrive January 2016.

I noticed that the S version does not have tweeters, looked at the dashboard and A columns and I could not find any tweeters. Any bros fixed a tweeter. Pictures would be nice.
