[Error] Mazda & Vezel Thread

Vezel has 4 side windows in total, so that is 4 side curtain airbags. Side airbags are not side curtain airbags.

 

So there is 2 x Front airbags, 2 x Side airbags, 4 x Side curtain airbags

direction and severity of impact. Both side

curtain airbags are deployed in a rollover.

The airbag system includes:

 

a Two SRS (Supplemental Restraint System)

dashboard. Both are marked SRS

AIRBAG.

 

b Two side airbags, one for the driver and

The manual is correct, which is why I indicated 2 x front airbags, 2 x side airbags, 4 x side curtain airbags.

I suspect there's some confusion as to whether the curtain airbags are considered a pair on each side or just as a single unit.

For the side curtain airbags, they are located at the front & rear pillars. From some point they look like two big airbags but actually is considered four.

The anxiety caused by buying from PI is just not worth it for that few k savings. Buying a car should be a pleasurable experience.

HRV DX minimum parf is 8k plus. If you have been driving with 2 airbags or less all your life without deploying any airbag, why suddenly you think you need 8 airbags? 20 airbags also cant replace defensive driving. Why suddenly you need sensing? You yourself cant sense anymore? It is dangerous to become habit to rely on all these sensors.

Somehow your logic on sensing is just like we using smartphones, all the while we never had smartphones then suddenly all start using smartphones. Why we suddenly need smartphones? Is it that we are not smart anymore? That being said, I do agree that sensing is not for everyone.

Airbags are important. Like insurance, you never want to employ them, but when something bad happens, you will be glad they are there.

Are 2 bags enough, will you pray that it is in your case bro, but I rather have more.

Those NCAP ratings are often based on models equipped with the full complement of bags, not the compromised editions that come to SG.

I advise you to keep the soft. It will come in handy when you need to load good into the booth. Trust me. To be frank what do you intend to put on the hard cover booth. Infact my PI gave me a hard one. I die die wanted her to get me a soft one upon collecting of my ride. (Don't think dirty here ok)

NCAP ratings are for batch or series testing? All vezel look-alike bodies will gets this rating? Can I confirm the video posted all over utube with 5stars rating is for the car I'm buying in sg? Strange is almost all cars that bang on this ratings are 5 stars. Does that means 4 star is unsafe and cannot be driven on the roads? 

Sensing is a new toy. Having it does not mean one is a safer driver. If it gets one out of a situation, its $ well spent!

 

I'm just as happy with my hrv dx with just 2 bags and non-sensing.

 

Most of all these safety equipment are secondary safety devices  ie  aftermath. The primary is still the driver. Just like safety helmet, shoes and vest.

IMO, end of the day, drive safe.
