Last time, I remember what ever thing we buy or use must have the SAFETY mark sticker from PSB (now SPRING). retailers are not allow to sell things without the safety marks.... now the market is flooded with electrical items that are not tested for safety... means we can use, but at our own risk.... i saw so many different kind of wall receptacle with USB charger in Sim Lim... so tempted... but if something happens to the house (eg. fire la... bla bla bla caused but this item), does insurance still cover?

The show was once a ratings powerhouse for Fox, watched by more than 30 million viewers at its peak, but the popularity of the competition, which launched the careers of stars such as Kelly Clarkson and Carrie Underwood, has fallen in recent years. Just 10.6 million viewers tuned in for American Idol's 2014 finale, compared with 11.6 million for NBC's rival singing competition The Voice. The final season will feature long-time host Ryan Seacrest and current judges Jennifer Lopez, Keith Urban and Harry Connick, Jr, Fox said. Fox, owned by Rupert Murdoch's Twenty-First Century Fox Inc , said in February last year that it expected to wind down American Idol after lower ratings led to a fall in advertising revenue in the company's TV unit. "We've known it's coming to the end," Chase Carey, president of 21st Century Fox, had said at the time. A spin-off of British music competition Pop Idol, which aired between 2001 and 2003, American Idol's success led the format being replicated around the world, with shows such as Australian Idol, Latin American Idol and Indian Idol. In the United States, American Idol's resounding success led to a host of similar show, including The Voice, CBS's Rock Star, and Fox's The X Factor. The show's original judges were music producer Randy Jackson, who left the show after 13 seasons, singer Paula Abdul, who left in 2009, and the acerbic Simon Cowell, who left in 2010. Responding to a question from Workers' Party Non-Constituency MP Gerald Giam on whether the Government has received any requests from existing or new casino operators to issue more licences after 2017, Mr Lee reiterated the Government's stance of working with the existing operators to improve their offerings. Mr Lee said the two IRs have contributed between 1.5 and 2 per cent of GDP, and created more than 20,000 jobs. He also noted that many economies in the region have been building casinos: the Philippines will have five IRs by 2019, and South Korea will also have five by 2018. Japan and Taiwan have also expressed interest in building IRs. "This is the international competitive landscape in terms of major cities improving their tourism attractions, so this will be one set of considerations that we have to take into consideration as and when we consider the next steps," he said. Installed the in Car Cam for some time now, but never uploaded or tried to use any feature in it, so nows my chance … I was exiting out of Holland Village Public Car Park … Exit has 2 lanes, inner & outer … I was in the outer lane, the Camry was in the inner lane ... As I turned out, he cut into my lane & so I high beamed him twice ... Workers inspecting one of the carriages that derailed at the Bishan Depot yesterday. No passengers were on board and there were no injuries. Two carriages of a new train that has been undergoing testing derailed at Bishan Depot yesterday. SMRT spokesman Alina Boey said they "slipped off the track" while the train was pulling out of the stabling yard. No passengers were on board and there were no injuries. The company stressed that the train had not been put into service yet and that normal services were not affected by the incident. The Land Transport Authority (LTA) was informed of the incident at around noon.
