  1. have you guys ever felt guilty about how you reacted on the roads? i thought this could be a good place to pour your heart out. anyway, to the grey lancer SG*1102* i dont know if you surf this forum, but i was the silver golf that honked at you when you were trying to come into my lane to get onto MCE. i turned together with you and after i was done turning, i saw your signal and even before i could react, you started coming into my lane and i got a shock and gave a damn long honk and braked hard, to which you waved an apology. i'd also like to apologize for holding the horn, and i appreciate your apology. been quite a rough day for me and i got a shock when you started coming in just after the right turn.
  2. http://www.straitstimes.com/news/singapore/courts-crime/story/tv-host-quan-yifeng-fined-800-inconsiderate-driving-20140423 By Walter Sim Mediacorp artiste and popular Channel 8 TV host Chuan Yi Fong - better known as Quan Yifeng - was fined $800 and disqualified three months from driving on Wednesday after she pleaded guilty to one charge of inconsiderate driving. Quan is said to have knocked Mr Raman Selvaraj, 28, down at the junction of Selegie Road and Sungei Road one morning on July 2 last year. But she immediately pulled over and rendered assistance to the man, who suffered a laceration to the back of his head, abrasions on his left elbow, and pain in his left hip. She also offered compensation of US$1,000, and to pay for all his medical expenses. This is her third brush with the law here. In 1996, she was convicted of fighting, and in 2011 was placed on 15 months' probation for committing mischief in an altercation she had with a taxi driver. Imo, driving is not for someone who easily lose control their emotions.

Another STOMPer, Pillion, said: "I saw this police car in the Clementi area. "I was waiting for the traffic light when I noticed the car with the wrong spelling of 'Police'." 7. Home > Breaking News > Singapore > Story Sep 27, 2008 Stylo party turns ugly Tempers flared at the exclusive event as partygoers waited over an hour at the valet for their cars. By Cara Van Miriah THEY arrived in style but left in shambles. Billed as one of the most glamorous Grand Prix parties, the Stylo Fashion Grand Prix (SFGP) Singapore at the Mercedes-Benz Centre on Friday was wrecked at the end. Things turned ugly at the red carpet when guests waited more than an hour for the event's valet service to pick up their cars. The holdup: Misplaced car keys and missing vehicles. It was supposed to be a simple process: hand your numbered ticket to the valet, and he'll get your car keys and drive the vehicle out of the carpark to the red carpet. Trouble brewed when the valets could not find some of the cars keys kept in a white cabinet at the valet station. In some cases, the matching ticket stubs were tagged to the wrong keys. At 11pm, partygoers then crowded the valet station desperately trying to locate their keys in the cabinet. The valets then separated several sets of ticket stubs and keys from the cabinet and displayed them on the ground so as guests could identify the keys themselves. In a fit of anger, a few guests hurled vulgaries at the valets. One even pushed an event signage to the ground, which was then prominently displayed before the Mercedes-Benz Centre on Alexandra Road. Three hours later - at 1.45am - about 15 guests were still waiting for their cars. A Stylo spokesman estimated that some 100 guests were affected. The event, which ended at 2am, left a sour taste for the glam crowd. http://www.straitstimes.com/Breaking...ry_283235.html

  9. US 'penis photo doctor' loses job A surgeon who allegedly took a photo of a patient's penis during an operation at a US hospital is no longer working there, it has been announced. Dr Adam Hansen, of Arizona's Mayo Clinic Hospital, is accused of taking the snap while conducting gallbladder surgery earlier in December. The chief of general surgery allegedly showed the photo to fellow surgeons. The patient is a strip club owner, Sean Dubowik, whose penis is tattooed with the words "Hot Rod". A member of the surgical staff tipped off local newspaper The Arizona Republic about the incident in an anonymous call on Monday. The announcement that he was "no longer practising" at the Mayo clinic was posted on the hospital's website. It is not clear whether he resigned or was dismissed. 'Great outrage' On the same day, Mr Dubowik, 37, learned about the photo when the Nobel Prize-winning clinic, based in Scottsdale, telephoned him. The businessman said: "I got a strange call after my surgery from a doctor who said there was a problem. He said Hansen was on the phone and would explain." Mr Dubowik said that the surgeon confessed to having used his mobile phone to take the picture while inserting a catheter into his penis. The patient, who said the tattoo was done for a $1,000 (
