  1. TL;DR: C-HR driver is unhappy cam car driver did not let him into lane, proceeds to brake-check, confront and attempt to cause accidents “When in the wrong, just continue heck care since already wrong once” a motto this crazy C-HR beng believes in. To get an idea of the madness involved, watch the following 3.5-minute clip: What started it From 0:55, we can see “King Ander” — as inscribed on the C-HR’s driver side window — wanting to switch into the cam car’s lane, since his lane is left-turn only. He’s already left a significant gap from the white Serena ahead, and doesn’t seem to have signalled right, since there are no flashes from his mirror-mounted indicators. The cam car driver is having none of “King Ander’s” entitlement, so he just drives on. Displeased, the C-HR encroaches into the cam car’s lane as an attempt at intimidation, to no avail. Just before approaching the junction, the C-HR finally turns on its right indicators. Seeing the road clear up ahead, it gives up trying to merge, driving straight on and squeezing out the cam car in the process. Tyrannical behaviour commences Not satisfied with getting ahead, the C-HR seizes the opportunity to “punish” the cam car, flooring it across some chevrons and abruptly cuts across 2 lanes, just to perform a double brake check. At least he remembered to use his signals this time. Having boxed the cam car in traffic, he gets out for a confrontation to act tough. Another angle of this beng’s mug taken by the cam car’s passenger, with profane gestures and all; certainly not behaviour befitting a king. Realising they have all sorts of incriminating evidence, he finally retreats to his car, but not before a final "dirty trick”. As the cam car switches lanes to distance itself, this tyrant attempts to force the cam car off the road right across 4 lanes beyond his own, before switching again to the next lane, all without signalling. All in, the 8 (at least) infractions included: Failure to signal intention (multiple) Failure to stay in lane Driving over chevrons Driving into an oncoming lane Brake-checking Stopping on a double zigzag Causing an obstruction Attempting to cause an accident Online reactions The majority of comments appear to condemn both parties, stating that the cam car driver was partly at fault for not giving way to “King Ander”, despite his lack of signalled intention early on. While in the minority, there were still a few condemning his actions. What do you think, should the cam car driver be more gracious even if he was entirely in the right, or was this C-HR beng wrong to bully even if he's "King (Ander)" of the road? 2. They say that Singaporeans have a unique culture and identity, which can be attributed to our variety of local cuisines and our multi-racial society. I say we are truly unique by the manner we talk. Watch this video to see the most Singaporean style argument between two motorists: What Happened? This pointless incident occurred at an unknown HDB carpark involving the cam car and a blacked-out van. The cam car was driving towards the end of a one-way direction carpark, where the driver was supposed to give way to oncoming vehicles before "re-entering" the carpark again. Just as the cam car was about to turn right, a blacked-out van emerged from the carpark entrance. As a result, the cam car performed an e-brake and exclaimed 'SMLJ?' before venting his frustration by honking at the van. The van driver then proceeded to stop in front of the cam car before opening the driver's side door. The van driver then made a gesture to ask why he was honked. The argument between both parties went as such: NGL, this encounter is about the most Singaporean it will ever get! An Avoidable Exchange TBH, the honking action of the cam car was genuinely uncalled for. I see it as an intentional provocation to spite the van driver and vent his frustrations after the cam car was forced to give way to the van. What do you think? Which party do you think is at fault? Netizens' Comments Dude, what have you been smoking when you were typing Point 3 onwards? That stuff is way too strong. 3. An impatient Mercedes taxi driver repeatedly honks aggressively at cyclists and recklessly drives like a 10/10 a**hole. On Monday (Aug 9), a group of cyclists were cycling along the junction of Thomson Road and Balestier Road at seven in the morning when they encountered a rude taxi driver. The Mercedes taxi driver could be seen tailgating the cyclists as they turned right at the junction in the video. He aggressively honked at them despite not being in the same lane as the cyclists. Towards the end, the taxi suddenly sped up and cut in front of the group. The taxi then took the left filter lane towards Whitley Road without observing the proper safety distance. LTA's rules and regulations for cycling on the road While the cyclists received backlash for riding on the roads, it seemed that they were following the proper rules and regulations. They were wearing helmets, rode in a single file as close to the left-hand edge as possible and switched on their front and rear lights. They were decked out in national colours and did not use any mobile communication devices while riding on the road. Netizens’ reactions While there is a stigma towards cyclists, there is no need to be such an a** towards them. If the taxi driver wanted to warn the cyclists, he could have honked once instead of continuously honking at them. Besides that, his reckless behaviour could have resulted in a severe accident on National Day.

  5. Does anyone noes a pet shop named I-Pet? On 12th March, morn was driving along Thomson Rd, overtake a small green panel-van GV6**6H in a 'Merging' lane. He has to brake to avoid me & obviously this van driver was super fed up as he tailed me with continuous horn all the way fr start of Thomson Rd to Sin Ming Rd. Small warning horn i can accept & will even slow down to wave a sorry sign to him even though i may not be at any fault but it's Very Irritating when he horned me all the way... This impulsive act stirred up my patience & i slowed down eventually & let him overtake by my right. Both of us wind down window & I shouted @ him 'Hv u had enuff? Its a merging lane right up there!' I guess i added an 'Idiot' @ the end as he's winding up his window b4 i can finish my sentence. Guess wat? He has a Dog beside him while driving & i choose to believe he wasn't concentrating during driving thus didn't c me overtake and so causing him to E-Brake. He didn't give up after that... he continued to horn & tried to follow me to wherever i go... but he was stopped @ traffic lite turning into Sin Ming... tat's where i stop my car by road side so as to confront him in person. Waited a while & he turned in but didn't c me & he turned into a carpark. I went over but the car was parked & he wasn't there & i only got the number plate & I-Pet printed on the van. Didn't hv the time to wait so i moved on... Intend to search for this Pet shop & pay this person a visit some of this days... Dun noe wat i'll do when i c him in person... Am i @ fault? Is he too much? Wat u guys think? My Frustration! Wat a day!
