  2. hi guys, just wanted to share my experience with this premium grooming outlet at Tanglin Mall B3, Brite & Groom. the guys are absolute car nuts and passionate about their job. i just wanted to give credit where it's due. their attention to detail and perfection is the best i've come across. really. they even do up the engine bay, leaving it shiny and looking new! that's my car on the left and we all know how tough it is to own a white car. i was overjoyed when i saw the results. i definitely recommend all forum bros to pay them a visit. damn kilat!
  3. Parked in the building with the Tanglin Post office in it for approximately 10 minutes.Came back and the carpark cash card reader kept saying that my cashcard was invalid and would not let me exit.I pressed the intercom and an ancient old man turned up,kept asking me to put in another cash card and refused to open the barrier. He said that he would get his supervisor to come over but that would take 1 hour! I lost my temper and yelled a bit and he said that he would call the police ( ? ) .I thought that it was stupid to wait an hour with the moron and gave him $3 ( he gave me a receipt ) and he then opened the barrier. 1. Pissed off because he kept implying that I had used a different cash card to enter . couldn't he have checked on the entry machine ? 2. It was the machine that was at fault - he could have just opened the barrier ! Thoughts ?
  4. aiyah, sometimes i feel the authority is rigid minded it's just a cosy corner for the old residents to chill out, chit chat yes, it's state land, but it hasn't been designated for any usage yet right? now they even chop down the bamboo grove really must pay and pay then can use?
  5. A black Mazda, travelling along Tanglin Road from Margaret Drive, was crushed by a tree on Saturday afternoon. Twitter user Kim Vernon, who sent The Straits Times a photo of the incident, said it was a "lucky escape" for a couple who were in the car. The police were also spotted at the scene assisting the couple by 12.35pm. The Singapore Land Authority receives about 70 reports of trees falling a year, mainly on forested state land. Over the past 10 years, four people have died and 62 injured by falling trees and branches. There were 122 cases of trees being uprooted from January to April this year.
