  1. I have cleaned the WS with glass cleaner, I have changed the wiper blades (Denso from petrol kiosk), yet the layer of fog still exist when the wiper is in use every time it rains.... and also the wiper will leave small streaks of water behind (not completely wipe of the water)... Anymore thing to take note? Thanks.
  2. Not sure whether discuss before as I can't find anything on this, any one does 2 layer of solar film before with better heat reduction as compare to one layer? Mind sharing the IRR% as well? My SE didn't mention that I can upgrade to the 3M crystalline by paying a little more therefore I'm going to apply another layer of tint just for the windscreen and front side window.
  3. as above. thinking about how to further improve the wet gilat look. it seems i reach a threshold. the car looks good but still cant match many wet cars i see in the mscp, i ever touch some ot them and they feel rough, wonder how they did it. some bros tell me prep work is 90%, i have done my best with claybar and dg101. followed by collinite 915 and aquawax. how can i further improve. is this the limitation of hand polish or do i now need to go to machine? suspect i am going to the dark side though.
  4. Hi, 1 paint shop recommend putting 2 layers of laquer over, which will gives better protection to scratches and also gives off deep shine. Has anyone tried this? Is it better to spend $$$ on pps or on the 2x laquer?
  5. Hi all, Anyone got lobang or take initative to organize a group re spray leh... same color ... just giving the car a new skin and fresh shinny pain after 3yrs of use... WHO ARE INTERESTED ??? ANY RECOMMENDATION OF PAINT SHOP????
  6. Guys Just to show you all how effective Aquawax works on Zaino Bros car polish. They just complement each other. These pics taken 2 days after washing. With minimal dust on the car. NICE SUNNY DAY! Comments Pls!
  7. Ok so I have gotten both the Collinite paste-based 476 and the liquid based 845 waxes now. And I have applied a layer of 845 on my light blue ride... the result is that before, my car reflection is mono-tone but now the 845 reflection is full technicolour detail. Ok so how should I proceed with the layering of wax now? 1) 845 followed by multiple coats of 845? 2) 845 followed by 476? 3) 845 followed by Aquawax?
  8. Yo. Any bro here know where is a good (and Cheap) place to do third layer on the front door. Currently got 2 layer liao. Should I DIY or what? Cheers..
  9. OK. I've got 2 similar reflections taken side by side. The cloudier picture is with 3 layers of SG and taken under overcast skies. The brighter one is the one with 1 layer SG and taken in bright sunlight . Although the light conditions were different, I guess we can still scrutinise the degree of orange peel and reflection sharpness in the 2 pictures. 3 Layer SG 1 Layer SG Honestly, not much difference if you ask me . But the added protection is a plus for the additional elbow grease and back breaking work lah . Next week I will try to add on a layer of Carnauba #26 and compare the difference again. Cheers
  10. My car went in for a respray few days ago. Now I notice there is a layer of something on the front windscreen. Could be some coating from the respraying that ended up on the windscreen or... Like a layer of mist, can feel it, not smooth. Had tried washing with mamalemon but still there. Any other solution I can use before I go back to the workshop again?
  11. Did the 10th layer of KSG and here's how my babe look :
  12. Hi Everybody, Just starting to use Klasse products. Actually can I layer the SG weekly? Any comment? If I keep layer the SG say 6 months later that's already 24 layers of SG, at this time do I still need to start from begin i.e.Clay, AIO than SG? Awaiting for yours' comments. MarcosTan Toyota Rav4
  13. After sending my car for polishing a few months back, my windscreen has a layer of something that makes my visibilty very poor (Blurness). Its like a layer of wax covering the screen. This is especially 'jialat' when rains at night with the street lights contrasting onto the windscreen. Has tried many options (below) to clear it, but cant. 1. Changing wiper blade. 2. Apply Jif or normal detergent. 3. Using Autoglym Clear Window Polish 4. Lastly, using thinner to wipe the surface. So what should I do? It remains the same, and doesnt get worse. It just stays there as it is...
