  1. Dear friends I have recently come into possession of some koi and large gold fish, and I am hoping to get some advice: - how do I clean the tank? - change the filter? - anyone I can hire for some professional advice or is there a bro here who is an enthusiast who does not mind coming to have a look? (will cook or provide super kopi and a big meal!) Thanks bros I have put aside some put in the balcony for this effort, this was something I did in my dad's old place and I am hoping to do something like that in future: Some advice on some solar powered lights to accompany this will be much appreciated too, thanks!

  3. Hi guys, Do u know of any indoor prawning pond in singapore? Googling shows a few but mostly like in 2009/2010 so dunno if they still open. TIA.
  4. Eye-popping news: China & Russia start first navy drills. Though they are both commies in ideology, they are not exactly comrades-in-arms so to speak. Each has drifted apart since the early years and have evolved into their own style of "communism" individually over the past century. Each is now with their own sphere of influence over their proxies and a force to be reckoned with in it's own right against all other states especially their minor neighbours. So to learn that they are joining forces for a naval drill is bewildering. Purpose? Not exactly a secret but to ruffle the feathers of the eagle at the other end of the pond to let it know that both of them are not to be trifled with individually and more so when they are in some sort of a pact. Of course nobody will expect they will merge and work seamlessly as one entity to counter anyone during a crisis but still something to keep the Pentagon sit up and pay particular attention with this type of drills. 6. Calling all fishing kakis, I watched this show on Channel 8 and would like to know if anyone can share the fishing pond location which Zhang Yang's dad always goes to? TIA
  7. Thought this is a great tip to share with everyone, even though the odds are against that happening. But hey... accidents are by nature unpredictable! :) The general theory is that when you drive your car into a pond, lake or sea, you'd wait for the car to sink totally underwater (and remove your cashcard in the meantime... haha!). This is to allow the water pressure within and outside the car to equalize and stabilize, so that you can open the car door easily. But... is that true? Top Gear did the test and found that it wasn't the best way, as the water pressure might take up to a minute to stabilize. Given that not everyone can hold their breath for a minute (and not panic), this practice might not save your life. The best way as Top Gear discovered, is to undo your seat beat and open the car door as soon as you can, and get out before the car sinks. Watch these clips... it might save your life someday! (part 1) (part 2) P.S: During the test, they also found that the central locking goes crazy when the car sinks. So you might be locked in when that happens.
