  11. Hi, Any one try before this Xtreme Spark Optimizer? (Refer to HOTSTUFF magazine issue 30) It is said to be able to increase horsepower of the car, better fuel efficiency. Appreciate if someone can comment on this.
  12. Anyone tried MotorUp Xtreme Engine Treatment? www.drm.com.sg
  13. I was recently introduced to a gadget called Xtreme Spark Plug Optimiser. Made up north, supposed to give better sparking (hence fuel saving and boost in power) and cleaner exhaust air. Of course accompanied by the usual anecdotal claims of Proton Wiras gaining 2 km/l in FC. The brochure itself claims fuel savings of 5 to 21% and power boost of 3 to 28%. It comes in a small box and is connected to the ignition coil. This concept dun sound new to me, has anyone tried it before and any feedback? Since it costs only $100+ with $20 installation charge, I was going to give it a try until I realised it involved cutting the stock ignition wire to connect to this unit. Does anyone know whether the car agents (in my case Borneo Motors) would void their warranty if one mods the wire in this way? Thks

It is a tuner concept for the all-new 2004 Chevrolet Aveo, which itself brings style, roominess and a fun-to-drive quality to the entry-level segment. The Aveo Xtreme, along with the other Xreme concepts, are showcases for Chevrolet to develop and evaluate a wide range of parts and body kits that allow customers to personalize and customize their vehicle to their individual lifestyles. Aveo Xtreme customers are looking to be inconspicuous, then this is not the vehicle for them. The crisp, clean lines of the production model are accentuated by a custom ground effects package or body kit that adds new front fascia, wide rear fascia with integrated rear fender flares, new rocker panels and a roof-mounted rear wing. Other Aveo xtreme styling elements include clear-lens LED taillamps and a Sparco locking gas cap finished in brushed aluminum. All Aveo Xrteme badging is finished in Fritz-the-Katt Lime Green exterior color. The result is a small car with a big attitude. Story by GM,. edited by Supercars.net

Xtreme's bold statements begin under the hood, where the turbocharged 3.5-liter V-6 engine resides. It features a Garrett turbocharger with Vortech liquid-to-air aftercooler and delivers 305 horsepower at 5600 rpm and 300 lbs.-ft. of torque at 4400 rpm. The 3.5L V-6 also features redesigned intake and exhaust ports on the cylinder heads for better air flow, resulting in improved fuel economy and lower emissions. The 3.5L is mated to a 5-speed automatic transmission. Bold is also an apt description for Equinox Xtreme's exterior styling. It features custom ground effects package that features front and rear fascias with carbon fiber inserts, carbon fiber rocker panels and a custom, roof-mounted rear wing. These, combined with 20-inch wheels and a body that has been lowered three inches, create a vehicle with an powerful stance. Equinox Xreme also features custom headlamps and custom clear-lens taillamps with LED signals. Both the headlamps and the taillamps are accented with carbon fiber inner bezels. Carbon fiber is also found on the engine air inlets. Other Equinox Xtreme exterior styling elements include a Sparco locking gas cap and fuel filler finished in brushed aluminum and body-color badging. Inside, Equinox XTREME features Sparco Torino-2 front seats and a custom rear seat with modified foam in a sport appearance. The seats are finished in ebony leather with Uniroyal Naugahyde vinyl inserts that match the Kipper Intense Yellow exterior color. Also included is a Sparco Flash 5 steering wheel and Sparco Stripe cast aluminum foot pedals.
  16. http://www.supercars.net/PicFetch?pic=2003_kleemann_xtreme-2.jpg http://www.supercars.net/PicFetch?pic=2003_kleemann_xtreme-1.jpg http://www.supercars.net/PicFetch?pic=2003_kleemann_xtreme-3.jpg Kleemann is introducing a line of exciting special edition vehicles based on different Mercedes-Benz models. The Kleemann 55 Xtreme is the first special edition vehicle to leave the Kleemann production facility. Although originally based on the chassis of the Mercedes-Benz SL500 and the naturally aspirated 5.5 AMG engine, the resemblance to the afore mentioned vehicles and engines however ends. Production of the Kleemann 55 Xtreme will be limited to just 20 units. In production form, the limited edition will be based on the SL55 AMG, guaranteeing a high tech product that not only is unique but also highly exclusive. The first edition vehicle from Kleemann features advanced aesthetics combined with innovative design and superior technical know how. The latest in the line of ultra refined Kleemann kompressor systems produces 640 b/hp at 5.800 rpm and 835nm torque between 2.000 and 6.000 rpm. The Kleemann kompressor runs at 0.75 bar which is 0.15 bar lower than the originally fitted kompressor system from AMG. However due to better airflow, the Kleemann kompressor produces 35% more power. The performance of the finished product is second to none. With an electronically limited top speed of 330 km/h and an acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.4 seconds, the 55 Xtreme has class leading performance. With huge power reserves, a high performance braking system could not be overlooked. The 55 Xtreme features a high efficiency braking system that guarantees perfect stopping performance regardless of the conditions. Both the exterior and interior of the 55 Xtreme are something to behold. The word Xtreme is something of an understatement when one considers the many interesting features of the vehicle. Eye-catching scissor doors provide a very characteristic appearance of the SL based car that truly lives up to the name Xtreme. The door mechanism is fully automated and can be activated by the touch of a button on the keyless remote control or on the dashboard inside the car. In practical terms the doors provide full usability and greater flexibility when opening or closing compared to conventional doors. When opening the scissor doors, they only require a 60cm opening radius compared to the traditional opening radius of 110cm on a conventional door. The characteristic Kleemann front spoiler has been modified with a carbon fibre lip that underlines the sporting intent behind the design as well as creating better down force and stability at high speed. The rear spoiler has also been modified. Two extra fins on the diffuser channel improve airflow behind the vehicle and provide more down force and stability at high speed as well as during heavy braking. The interior of the 55 Xtreme is in a class of it's own. The interior is covered in alcantara and soft Nappa leather. Detailing such as black carbon trim and a beefy sports steering wheel also provide that exclusive touch. The seats of the Xtreme are likewise indicatory of and specially designed for the limited edition vehicle. The seats match the sporty exterior while retaining original features such as pulse, ventilation and electric movement which are found on OE seats . Without compromise to comfort and well being, the contour of the seats provides for a more sporty and involved driving experience.
