Honda Civic Turbo driver shows us how to overtake like a pro

When if comes to overtaking, we bet this Honda Civic driver is one of the most skilled drivers on our road if not the most skilled.

This happened on Christmas eve at around 11:45pm along Bartley East Rd in the area of Kaki Bukit towards the CTE and we must say we are impressed with the precision of the overtake.

As you can see from the clip, the matt-greenish Civic Turbo came out of nowhere and moved across from one lane to the other with not much room to spare, before proceeding to accelerate away briskly.

I can and do blame cam car for a) staying in the right lane, especially with faster traffic behind and b) posting this video like a lame loser with a nasty caption aiming to bao toh the Honda driver.

The road at that point no longer has speed traps. The TP speed traps are on the flyover prior to this stretch. Cop with radar / camera gun.

Don't ask me how i know.

To me, quite the self-pawn video. Just need to keep to the left lane if you intend to cruise. Don't need to spend time to find video, crop and put bo liao caption. Life is much simpler if he/she uses some grey matter.

If he/she cant take people under-taking, keep left or drive faster. If scare of exceeding speed limit, keep left. The traffic is light and next right turn is at least 2km away (in case the excuse "I'm going to turn right soon" comes up).

Cam car is a lane hogger and should be reported to Traffic Police

I see his speed quite reasonable in relation to how fast the other two nearest car in front were travelling. Also about to overtake the nearest car and also seems to be quite close or maybe even slightly above the speed limit.

The Civic instead seems to be at 90+ or even close to 100 after overtaking, likely to be speeding aggressively.

There's a reason why the video is just 10 seconds long. If you don't want anyone to doubt you, post a video at least 10 seconds before and after the accident, as well as footage from the rear camera (if you have 1).

  • A 20-year journey, an old passion rekindled

For us 90s babies, the Holy Trinity of Disney Channel, Nickelodeon, and Cartoon Network formed a big part of our childhood. The internet was just about coming into fruition, with the rise of a plethora of websites with numerous entertaining flash games and of course, the early days of YouTube. And though those things have come and gone, one thing in my life remained constant: My love for Pokemon. I first got into Pokemon 20 years ago, and I remember exactly how it went down. Let me set the

Have you ever watched on of those baby crawling races? They are hilarious. I watch a lot of NBA, and sometimes they have these races as a halftime entertainment. And its hilarious because unlike most athletic races, there's an inherent unpredictability and chaos to these things. They get distracted, they get bored, they get tired. Babies doing baby things, you know.  Well, England thinks it can one-up the absurdity of racing: Introducing to you, Snail Racing.  It seems almost

    The Joys of Morning Walks

Like most other folks stuck in the rut of smartphone-hyper-use, I recently caught myself doing the same each morning: Waking up to immediately reach for my phone. Reflecting on the first quarter of the year, however – and realising that I’ve been subconsciously plunged into an extended bout of languidness – brought me to the realisation: Perhaps it's time to embrace a different routine. One that started with stepping outside into the crisp morning air, and feeling the gentle warmth of

Japan: The trend that became a turn-off

Ahh Japan. The destination that many travellers desire. The perennial trending subject on social media. Japanese cuisine, culture, quirks, technology, and everything kawaii have inspired endless posts, stories, reels, YouTube videos, and TikToks. If one didn't know better, you'd think it was the dream destination on this planet. While I love the food, the service and the shopping, the sheer number of tourists (me included) has become a turn-off. I'm not talking about those who inconven
