Beetle embodies what is means to be VW (people's car), driving one, even for awhile, is sure to be an experience to savour! About the Datsun Fairlady 240Z in the east? I've only ever had fragmented accounts, shrouded in myth and legend, of it's existance. Some say it's actually running around, others tell of it's demise at the hands of a reckless owner, yet there are those who claim to have seen it rusting away in some backyard, unloved and uncherished... If you find it, BUY it!! when was the last time you heard of the Datsun Fairlady 240Z in the East? sheesh, so many different accounts.. which to believe? LTA wants me to pay $321 in order for me to re-register a new no ( tis no is just any no that LTA computer gives ) because someone drives a malaysia car uses my car licence plate no to driver in & out of Singapore . Now the driver is caught & car is retained at the police station . Do you guys think I MUST pay for the fees , is that justified ?? I like my licence plate no but because I dun want to have any problemwith the Malaysians while sending my guests into malaysia . Pls advice . Thanks . Anyway, i'm nursing a cold and have been indoors whole day.. on the brink of going mad! So, i'm actually brainstorming for story ideas and i decided to come in here and get your suggestions. What types of stories would you like to read about? eg. interviews of particular persons, comparisons of certain car with certain car, why stock car colours seldom have pink, cheapest car washes in Singapore etc. etc. At the same time, share with me what types of stories you DON'T want to read about. I think it will be good to have articles on modifications or usage of aftermarket parts that enhance the car's performance or durability and those that have not been proven by independent lab test or reviews over the years. Here are some quick examples. Here, the reviewer writes "the cabin is very quiet, or the noise is minimal..." But in China, they tell you the dB measured in the car when the car is idle, 3000rpm and travel at 90kmph. For review of performance car, they actually chart out the speed by every second. We could actually "see" when the gear shift up. Then, not forgetting the breaking power. They actually measure the distance required for the car to stop. So, yes.
