Hello all!

 

Gong Xi Fa Cai to the Chinese MCF members:), hope your ang bao collection is a healthy one this year (is it me or did this year's ang bao content decrease?)!

 

Anyway, i'm nursing a cold and have been indoors whole day.. on the brink of going mad!

 

So, i'm actually brainstorming for story ideas and i decided to come in here and get your suggestions.

 

What types of stories would you like to read about? eg. interviews of particular persons, comparisons of certain car with certain car, why stock car colours seldom have pink, cheapest car washes in Singapore etc. etc.

 

At the same time, share with me what types of stories you DON'T want to read about.

One possible story idea is to interview and feature car owners who prefer to own and drive older cars -- there's quite an active thread in VAGSG forum on old cars. These guys aren't your usual first-time car owners who buy COE cars for lower ownership and running costs. Rather they are specifically looking for and restoring cars they want to own and drive and many have at least one more car.

 

I'll also like to read more about the presonalitites of the car owners behind their modified or tuned or ICEd cars -- way too often all we get is a fluffy or embelished laundry lists of various parts and pieces on the car without any idea why the owner wanted it there -- articles on modified cars don't make sense if you don't add in the reasons behind the mods.

i know what you mean, a lot of the magazines in Singapore are focused on passenger cars because the demand for light commercial vehicles is not as high. ooh yeah maybe you can do that and let us know what you think of it..

to be honest, nope i didn't pick him for his car. it's more of a bonus to me i guess, and i don't drive it that often also.

 

i'm not the sort who goes for guys with cars.. otherwise i would have tried to get more than just a fair lady right? hahahaha! :X

 

both my bf and i drive, hence sometimes end up going out in two cars and wasting money paying double ERP and double parking charges.
