Once u try the smooth & responsive, proper (wet) DSG, u won't wanna waste time on simi CVT or traditional torque converter anymoreI didn't drive dry clutch DSG before, but for my current 7 spd wet clutch, still notice a bit of judder around gear 1-2 at 20km/h. Hamburger Hypersonic July 22, 2019 Share July 22, 2019 I didn't drive dry clutch DSG before, but for my current 7 spd wet clutch, still notice a bit of judder around gear 1-2 at 20km/h. I think need to learn how to drive it properly to avoid judder. Just lut and go. Don't be hesisstant on the accelerator . Felipe 3rd Gear July 23, 2019 Share July 23, 2019 impreza & xv also CVT, heck almost all subaru cars are using it which really kills the driving experience. surprisingly the cvt on honda civic/turbo is actually not bad, somehow honda managed to tune the cvt. the cvt on toyota vios is just trash, floor it and the car is still crawling regardless of engine hp/torque whatsoever. Not bad but no matter how u tune, cvt is not the performance issue but rather no feel. Like dead fish. For sure Facelift A3 has resolved this issue.Wat gearbox issue? So haha she's been relegated to only going between my in-laws and my place (few mins drive) or going to the vet. cleaning up vomitus from car mats is not fun 1st time heard of dog car sick.
