Any recommendations for a non-brompton foldable bike that can go fast ~ 25kmh?

Crius can do it. Get the Crius Master.

MTB can already. If I cycle alone always target more than 30km/hr when on the 10km straight stretch along Changi Coastal Road.

Max speed. The mrs wants to get into cycling and not keen on roadie as need to do 100 degrees split to mount :D

I guess that's why folks wear lycra when cycling.  😁  Can conform to any body posture.

Yep, only MAMIL can.

Hence the term.

Not all roadies in Lycra are MIDDLE AGE MAN.

On the other hand, a lot of MIDDLE AGE MAN cannot wear Lycra

Get Tyrell or Birdy R20 but the most important is how strong your legs...

reason for these 2 foldies that main frame no hinges so no flexing if your legs super strong. So if aim going faster screw all those hinged body foldies including Brompton. AM bikes also good but non folding

I ride 52T chainring Brompton without flexing using clipless pedal

Brompton is made of steel and joint will loosen after a while. I have 2 bromptons and the first one I bought in 2015, the pin on the main frame will wear off then time to replace. I am not strong rider but I am heavy riders. So gravity loves me.

Btw I also still own my Tyrell FX and Tern LinkD8 that only frame is original the other parts upgraded 😂 I didn’t get Birdie since I decided to get another Brompton S6L black edition (kena con) and my old Brompton is M6R

So it is a rider problem.

I have a 2013 bike. I changed to rear elastomer to stiff spring.

So far, I have no problem with the pin on main frame

No the harder the suspension the faster the pin worn out.
one Brompton is on H&H suspension and the other one is using Bikefun suspension. Bikefun suspension is soft. If wants to improve cadence harder suspension is required. If not bicycle will go to disco/bouncing mode then power transfer is wasted. So sometime I tune these spring suspension by tightening the spindle bolts to make it harder but consequence is pin on the frame suffer.
