surprisingly, Microsoft actually have more innovation in their products in recent years.

though lots of their product are not related to Windows OS at all [laugh][laugh]

I think their xbox with kinect is a super leading innovation.

Has the same magnitude as iphone with its multi touch

Here's the lumia one the guys at The Verge took. Beats even the night mode on the S3 (which was 2nd best), even though the shutter speed was double at 1 second. Look at the lack of blur in contrast to the S3. Obviously their optical image stabilisation works really well. You can see the images here http://www.theverge.com/2012/9/7/3299784/n...a-hi-res-photos

You know what, I've never owned a Nokia phone before...but I think in 2yrs time, I might get a Nokia phone...

Nokia is definitely one of the better alternative...try not to go near Sony Xperia damn koya, cracked its screen from lap height while getting out of car.

To all those who say iphone will still sell like hot cakes, there's absolutely no doubt about that.

Simply because there is brand inertia.

The situation is quite similar to toyota and VW.

No doubt many r still buying Altis, but quite a few have chosen to go for the jetta

Not just brand issue.

I would get the iphone simply because it runs on iOS.

Android is crap. It's not simple & elegant. It reminds me of MS Windows.

I have a 7" Android Tablet and it is collecting dust. I just couldn't make myself use Android after I have tried it. It's not intuitive and it takes a bit longer to learn. Geeks will be happy with it but not me. Even apps running on Android are not that elegant and friendly.

That's why I say iPhone is more a fashion icon primarily, smartphone is secondary...

I don't get what you mean. I have been using iphone and ipad without ever once synching with itunes.

For me, itunes is only for music. And I don't listen to music on a phone.

I never treat is as a fashion thing. I simply use it as a phone. That's it.

why do u think apple will create something for you to hate?

i don't preech for any OS.

but i believe (and i astest to it)

the benefits outweight the hassle to sync to itunes.

If u don't need to backup, why do u need to sync to itune?

My wife uses iphone & she don't sync.

I find it annoying that Andriod device, (or at least those belong to samsung since my andriod devices are primary samsung.)

Most of the time cannot be detected on my PC unless i restart the device. This is a big turn off.
